Trattoria Funistrada Reviews
First time back here in probably five years. Thankfully it was exactly how we remembered everything. The food was excellent and service was great too. Hoping to get back up north quicker for our next visit.
This was my husband and my first time dining at Trattoria Funistrada and we were delighted with our experience. I had the Veal Saltimbocca and it was by far the best I've ever had! My husband had the Eggplant Parmesan which was also fantastic. The Antipasto Salad that is served with the entree is light and delicious. We will definitely be returning soon!
Food and wine was good. The kitchen allowed a substation on the Pasta dish and had plenty of leftovers for take home.

Trattoria Funistrada is a charming local restaurant with a delicious menu, including the popular veal saltimbocca. The atmosphere and service are exceptional, making it a neighborhood gem worth returning to. While the veal can be inconsistent, the sauce, mushrooms, and prosciutto are always perfect. Funistrada provides a memorable experience with exceptional food and service in a lovely setting, offering excellent pasta dishes like tortellini and angel hair carsoni, and delicious options like chicken saltimbocca and salmon with wine sauce.
The restaurant is quaint but bustling, with professional service and great food. The house antipasto salads are fresh and tasty, and the pasta dishes are perfectly al dente. The penne with broccoli and linguini with shrimp have flavorful sauces, and the lasagna and penne with spicy sausage are also great. The service is excellent, with knowledgeable staff and a great wine selection. The veal piccata is a standout dish, tender and flavorful.
Funistrada is one of the best-kept secrets in the area, offering some of the best Italian cuisine around. It is a first class restaurant with terrific entrees and a delicious shrimp scampi appetizer. The Ceasar salad dressing is restaurant made and yummy. The veal saltimbocca and chicken saltimbocca are both smothered in mushrooms with delicious sauce. It is a special place for fine dining without the fuss, with every wait staff willing to help with a smile.
