Local bar that sits on a corner in the small town of Marne (just west of Grand Rapids). No frills, a couple of TVs and a billiard table. Party tried the pickle back shot (a shot of whiskey and chased with a shot of pickle juice). It was oddly good?! Then we tried the daily special; a grilled cheese with a bowl of chili. The chili was delicious (flavorful and a little kick) and the grilled cheese was nostalgic. Service was great. While this isn’t your normal stop, it’s worth...
We enjoyed the whole time we were there. From the food, atmosphere, and especially the service. The young man that waited on us was very courteous and polite. He also went out of his way to acknowledge our 12 year olds manners and how he ordered. We will be back.
This bar was phenomenal..the service, the atmosphere, the food..OMG..literally every single thing was amazing. We were visiting from the other side of the state, and I borderline would want to move to Marne to have this as my neighborhood bar. My wife would have to pry me from there everyday. If they ever want to open another location in Metro Detroit I would love to be a part of it. THANKYOU!
