I found the most delicious cake I've ever eaten! !Night Rider's berry-flavored chocolate (Valentine's limited edition?) was really delicious, and although it wasn't very sweet, it had a strong, mature flavor that I loved! ! It's hard to find cakes like this in Japan, and I've eaten many cakes in New York in the US, but this has become my favorite! The shortbread cookie cake was also delicious ♥I would like to stop by every time I go on vacation in the summer *When I stopped by again last summer, I was disappointed to find that the chocolate cake had lost its crunchiness...Maybe it's just a coincidence, so I'll try again.

Lovely patisserie with the sweetest staff and sweet treats. I really enjoy the lunch options and savory snacks here too, not just the indulgent sugary sweets. It’s been a great place to find a table to relax or work in.

Their pastries are delicious, specially the macarons. They are filled with flavor and have an amazing texture. The people who work there are always so sweet and I always have a great interaction when I go in.

Perfect big open space to work and chill. Food and coffee are pretty expensive but good quality.

231 West Patisserie is a full service coffee shop with an incredible variety of top notch baked goods that is serving up all that deliciousness way up in the Upper Pennisula. This place is clean, bright, welcoming, and has it all when it comes to fulfilling your need for caffeine and carbs. Full menu of espresso drinks crafted to perfection by talented baristas. Lots and lots of seating. Tons of natural light in an environment that seems like it would be great for getting some work done.If you're in range of this place and needing to satiate your caffeine addiction, aim yourself in this direction and make it happen. You'll be glad you did.

One of my favorite spots in town. probably the most consistent and reliable business in Marquette. For one, they are not randomly closed on several days throughout the week like almost all other food spots in town. Also, the pastries and food are always amazing and the atmosphere is perfect.

Very pleasant service, best pumpkin latte actually tastes like pumpkin and not syrup. The pastry was fantastic as well!

They call themselves a Patisserie. They are a genuine Patisserie. I've been to Paris and other European cities, and European style cities this side of the Pond like Toronto, and 231 stands up.Delightful sticky bun.Got a triple or quadruple espresso, plenty strong, delicious flavor, *not* bitter, absolutely perfect.Had a breakfast burrito, plenty of flavor and a nice balance of flavors, touch of heat and serves with Cholula to adjust to your preference and it all worked well. Also, it's been like 20 minutes since consuming it and it's sitting well.Music is on point, really nice mix of jazz and folk and a few other things. Came here to write and read and such, music really helped me come in and out of focus, which sometimes I have difficulty doing, so, 10 bonus points for music.Had light conversations with other patrons as I spent the morning here, very friendly.Artwork is fabulous. Above the register is the silliest print: two old school robots on the Golden Gate bridge, one has just jumped and slammed down, causing the bridge to buckle like a child's playground and launching the other robot up. It's just silly. Meanwhile, in the seating area, you've got Batman brushing his teeth, a bunch of colorful astronaut prints, and a breathtaking woman in a dress who is also sewing her own dress and the darn light switch (like, the actual light switch) is painted to match and from across the room I legit can't tell if it's a real light switch or just part of the print.Lighting is right. Not too much, so, if you haven't had coffee yet, you're not getting assaulted, but plenty of light to read and write.

I love this place! My favorite is the monkey bread though I have found I have a gluten sensitivity so I had to switch to gluten free items. Today I had the yogurt parfait which is GF and was delicious ? I have not had anything here that I did not like! Macarons are yummy and made fresh.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

The Macarons were good, but the hot chocolate that I ordered was, by far, the worst hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it is a decent place with tasty macarons, but I would recommend going elsewhere if you want good hot chocolate.

O.M.G! The pastries and coffee are so worth a few extra miles of driving! The artichoke and spinach pastry, or go big with the ham and cheese croissant. The monkey claws are perfect for your sugar fix. And there are breakfast burritos, muffins, and many other offerings to tempt your palate. Go for it!

I had a pre-order before ever visiting the store for the first time so I was definitely excited to see the bakery in person. Staff were incredibly friendly, the bakery was much more spacious than I anticipated and it had a very modern aesthetic to it which was visually pleasing. I chose to take my treats to our hotel for later snacking since we were in the middle of shopping other stores nearby. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Prices were very reasonable given the high quality of our baked goods. I will be back no doubt when visiting Marquette.

Stopped here for a dirty chai and a salted chocolate chip cookie, and they were both incredible! I was driving through Marquette on a road trip and the staff here were so nice, I had a great conversation with one of the baristas! A must stop in Marquette!!!
