“Since I moved to Marquette from Louisiana I've had so many ask me if I've been to Lagniappe. I finally decided and here's one Louisiana girls honest review. I loved the decorations, atmosphere and music. It really reminded me of home. I was very disappointed they did not have daiquiris or boudin because that's what I've been missing most. The first day we tried the baked seafood fondue.I would rate it a 4. It had pretty good flavor but kind of bland and the texture of the cheese wasn't nice. Shrimp po boy. I rate a 5 as ordered but a 8 of you add a little salt and Creole seasoning! This was really good with seasoning and very similar to the taste of home. The shrimp were small. The sweet tea 3. It didn't taste like brewed tea. It tasted like Nestea. The next day we tried The Gumbo (5) The Catfish Pontchartrain (6) but a solid 8 with salt and Creole seasoning added. It's usually served over rice and that would have made it a 10! I loved it and will get it again. The bread pudding was good but I didn't like that they had raisins in it and the community coffee is good as always! Overall, it's pretty good I'll continue to try more things when I'm missing home”

“Drifa Brewing is such an awesome place! Great view of Lake Superior, right off the highway and bike path! Great selection of craft beers, wine, slushy drinks and they even make wine/beer cocktails…there is always a food truck outside and music in the beer garden! Great staff and an a great atmosphere!”

“We drove out of our way to visit this spot at the recommendation of friends. It was worth the extra miles. My “gregarious yet combative” red blend was lovely and the cheese and charcuterie platter was artful and tasty. Enjoyed the vibe and would spend so much time here if I lived in the area.”

“Went there twice for the ribeye. First time was cooked very well. The second time it was cooked more than I'd asked for. It was still good and they did offer to replace it. I declined as it wasn't ruined and still had a great dining experience.”

“Good food, decent service. Drinks are a little overpriced but expected. Don't order tall beers you're just getting ripped off. The fried pickles are awesome! And the brisket burger is a heart attack on a bun but man its goooooood!! Newly remodeled inside makes the place look bigger and brighter. Very nice remodel!

“I placed an order last week for a dozen frozen pasties to be sent to me in Texas. They put your order through immediately and box it for shipping. Have never had a problem, except this time, Fed-Ex delivered them 6 days later..two days after the day I was scheduled to get them. Sitting in the Texas heat for two days caused the pasties to thaw to the point where they couldn't be saved. Lawry's is sending me the same order free of charge. That is how loyal they are to their customers. They are not only the best tasting pasties, but because of how they treat their customers, they will always get my business. “I have never had bad donuts from Huron Mountain Bakery until today. I bought seven donuts and five were not what I asked for. No glaze on the glazed and wrong sprinkle donuts. I was very disappointed. This was at the ishpeming store. I would still recommend them, just maybe a bad day.”

“Absolutely love Provisions MQT! The vibe is perfect & I love the design of the place. I love the coffee! And not to mention, the gelato! I love going there to do some work in addition to the coffee & gelato. And what’s even better: there’s so much fun items to purchase and look at. Oh! And the art! Such great local art for sale. Sometimes there’s live music! And the location is fantastic. All in all, it’s a favorite.”

“Ore Dock Beer is exactly what craft beer should be. Good. Cold. Flavorful. Wife and I got flights each and of the beers we had, not a single pour was poor. All were either good or excellent. Very spacious interior with plenty of outdoor seating. Bartender was friendly and informative.”

“My family went to La Catrina today for lunch, our waiter Carlos was so nice and friendly. He made us feel like we were his only table. We never had to wait for anything. “We had the best experience at Bodega yesterday. We stopped for breakfast to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday with mimosa’s. We had Aurora as a waitress and she is amazing! The food was incredible!! I love that they let you know right away that you will be waiting about 45 minutes for your food, because it is fresh. It was with the wait! Try the coffee, it is delicious! Great way to spend our Saturday morning. I highly recommend it!!”

“Overall very good experience! We were a little hesitant to go here because we had heard the wait for food was very long, 40-60 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised to only wait 25. We felt the corned beef hash was especially delicious! So glad we got to stop in.

“So here's the thing toppings amazing you can tell everything is fresh. The only issue if I had to call it that would be the crust and that's completely preference. Personally I like the crust with a little char on it some people don't but, that aside. I great enjoyed the pie I received drove 7 hours up here for work. Was extremely tired and hungry was met with the most bubbly,smiley and adorable counter girl as well as a well made pizza. Keep up the good work. I'd say leave the pie in for like 3 or 4 more minutes but, aside from that worth the wait !”

“I'm going to tell you a secret the locals know. This bar is a hidden 💎 located in the historic Landmark Inn Hotel. Found on the 6th floor of the hotel, it has amazing views of lower harbor/ Lake Superior.

Great cocktails, and I hesitate to say this, they also have a strong bourbon selection. Blantons, Eagle Rare, Weller, Old Forester, etc.

Order the Old fashioned and have them smoke it. You can thank me later..”

“We absolutely loved the Detroit style pizza and house salad. The Jeffery pizza was our choice, and it didn't disappoint: crispy edges, generous helpings of 2 kinds of pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions and cheese. Every bite delicious! The house salad was full of cheese, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and sunflower seeds. The lettuce was fresh and varied. Our waiter, J, was great.”

“I highly reccomend trying Biggby Bragels and Coffee. Their Turkey Bacon on a Asiago Cheese bagel is my favorite, they grill it before serving so its warm and crispy. Pictured is the Sausage Egg and Cheese Bragel with cream cheese on a Everything bagel. It was delicious. My favorite coffee is the Sweet Tooth blended with whip cream. They have daily specials and senior/student discounts. Beats Starbucks and Dunkin any day.”

“Overall it is a good bar. Hot college girls! Good drinks! Great karaoke! Lack of bartenders for such a busy bar is ridiculous…1 or 2 only. Also be careful because just because a person is at Flanigans doesn’t mean they are 21+ at all. I’ve see people I know that are definitely 100% under 21 that are there drinking alcohol. They should check IDs for all people because i don’t want this wonderful place to get shutdown.”

“Haven't been to a McDonald's in a long time. The food was great here and they had Halloween music playing with a great staff. MY aunt couldn't figure out how yo turn the water on or the paper towel machine and the girl went in the bathroom twice to show her . Very patient and nice!!”

“Good food at a good price. The staff did what they needed to do to make the experience go smoothly, as they were neither friendly or rude. The area inside where you can order food is relatively small. The dining area is relatively spacious and family oriented, but it is also dark due to small windows and dim lighting.

Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.

Kid-friendliness: Family-oriented size dining area.”
