“I love the coffee at Provisions and my whole family loves the gelato flights. Great space and right on the bike path. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Very laid back. Team members are always patient with my kids while they take a bit to decide on the gelato flavors. And they do offer little samples to help make decisions!“

Frosty Treats Ice Cream Shop • $

“Just visited tonight, staff very friendly, wait not bad at all. The downfall to this visit: I ordered the Strawberry Short Cake and the cake wasn't short cake at all, it wasn't pound cake; nor was it Angel food cake... they used a butter-milk biscuit and sadly, it so did not work at all in this ice cream dessert. The ice cream was great, the strawberries were fine and the appearance looked nice. Hopefully, they will consider not using biscuits most people eat at dinner time. I know these biscuits work well with honey and even jams, but not for Strawberry Short Cake.“

Island Ice Cream Store Ice Cream Shop •

“This has to be some kind of Marquette "insiders' only" place. On the wonderful suggestion from the tourist guide station on the lake, we headed for the Presque Isle Park loop Friday afternoon. The park is fantastic, but ending the hike at the Island Ice Cream Store was unbelievable. Wonderful service, terrific location with lots of room to rest and recover from the hike and gorge on icecream, and absolutely the best ice cream I've ever had.“

“Literally some of the most creamy scoops I have ever had! Some very tasty and fresh ice cream! At the end of a hot summer day, what do you want? That's right, ICECREAM. Even writing this review makes me want to go grab a couple scoops! But we were really craving some home grown local icecream, no Dairy Queen , no baskin robbins. We wanted to go where the locals go! Now this place was tucked away a little bit from the city center, I wish it was closer and more easier to find as it literally looks like it's attached to the factory it comes from. But hey, at least we know it's fresh! There was a long line, it was July 4th so I suppose that was the reason. We were greeted by the line and the sign with TONS of flavors. Anything you could ever want they had, I got my super man icecream and my boyfriend got a cookie dough. Both were amazing. Like I said sooo creamy:)! The staff was friendly, the decor was cow themed as you could see and they had historical facts about Jilberts around the store with other things you could buy such as milk, ice cream cartons and souvenirs. All in all, this is the best place in Marquette to get icecream and maybe even the U.P :)“

Yoop-Phoria Ice Cream • $

“I am astounded by the professionalism of these women! I was wondering why my yogurt costed me a pretty penny? I was shook to the core by the lack of love put into my italian cocoa. I was hurled over in disbelief by the fact someone asked me if I was capable of doing the splits. Unbelievable.“
