“This was the best place I ate at while visiting the waitress was very welcoming and the meal pork chops with bourbon apples was delicious.unfortunally I do not have a picture as I was to busy enjoying my meal.”
“I an revising my older review as this location has turned around for the better. Good service, a nice crew with personable staff. Miles better than the crabby crew they had before!TLDR: worst service in Marquette with people who hate their jobs and their customersWe love subway, have frequented the stores in Marquette for the past few years. We were so happy to see this store open but every time we've gone we have been let down. The past two times we have went the workers behind the counter have sighed so loudly when new customers walk in that its audible from across the counter. It apparent that they are irritated at the arrival of new customers because they stare at them when they walk in and sigh. It's unbelievable. They are also so rude, with no manners or expression of their willingness to held that they honestly have the worst service in marquette county at this point. Today the guy behind the counter just stared at me after pulling the subs from the toaster without asking what I wanted. There wasn't any "what can I put on these for you" but instead just a blank stare. They complained today that the people behind me got italian herb and cheese bread saying "why does everyone get this bread in a rude tone" and when the gentleman asked to have the bacon toasted but not the sub that guy behind the counter said "you have to make it difficult for me don't you?". These were absolutely not said sarcastically but with a rude tone. The people who work here do not appreciate their customers whatsoever. Some of these people work at the other stores, and are rude there too. The difference is that at the other stores it it outweighed by their coworker being overly nice. It seems as though the owner pulled the worst employees from the other stores and sent them here. I'll give this subway one more chance next week, and if they are rude or complaining about their customers then I won't come back. I also had to add this store onto google maps to leave this review. Absurd that it wasn't done at open as people use google maps to find restaurants while traveling. At least now its on there and a bright side of the lackluster service is that the store is now on the map; free advertising for you I guess.”
“I love the coffee at Provisions and my whole family loves the gelato flights. Great space and right on the bike path. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Very laid back. Team members are always patient with my kids while they take a bit to decide on the gelato flavors. And they do offer little samples to help make decisions!”
“Grab-n-go Italian sandwich was good, especially the light and airy bread. Caramel latte with almond milk was delicious and flavorful. The starting price of a 12oz sweet latte is $7.40 which is extraordinarily high for a coffee shop. Despite the price, this place does make the best lattes in town. $18.53 for a drink and sandwich makes it hard to justify a casual visit, that's why it's a great place to go when you want to treat yourself.Dietary restrictions: They have milk substitutes.Parking: Free 2 hour street parking.”
“All I can say is I love each and every employee at Mqt Nutrition, plus I love the food and smoothies. I am gluten-dairy free, so if I want any quick food, this is one of the few places I can go. My only wish is they were open 7 days per week! ??”
“We loved our meal here. It was such a fun and unique place. Roll around the corner to order your meal and the grab a drink at the bar and find a cozy spot to chill, chat, or play a game.Food was all good and I would go back to try more!”
“Excellent breakfast sandwich, had the egg/bacon/veggies one. Veggies were grilled and tasty, egg was generous and super filling. Spouse grabbed a chocolate chip muffin, top was yummy but rest was so so- nice small chips used so easier to spread out the chocolate.”
“The staff is friendly, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice. The portion size was perfect with the personal size pizza. Can’t wait to come back and try another menu item!”
“The best freaking schnitzel I've had outside of Munich. Staff was incredibly friendly and the uncluttered (pared-down) menu meant they were only serving the hits.”
“Everytime I come in here I am greeting with such a welcoming and warm environment!! Ally ALWAYS provides me with amazing service and pleasant conversation! The tasty booch is just a plus!”
“Great service, drinks and food. Wine selection is excellent whether you're a wine novice or conossoiur. Great cocktails and beer choices, better than many restaurants in the area. The food is amazing, both in option and ingredient. The staff is welcoming and encouraging - helping customers to select what makes sense for them. Fantastic all around.”
“I found the most delicious cake I've ever eaten! !Night Rider's berry-flavored chocolate (Valentine's limited edition?) was really delicious, and although it wasn't very sweet, it had a strong, mature flavor that I loved! ! It's hard to find cakes like this in Japan, and I've eaten many cakes in New York in the US, but this has become my favorite! The shortbread cookie cake was also delicious ♥I would like to stop by every time I go on vacation in the summer *When I stopped by again last summer, I was disappointed to find that the chocolate cake had lost its crunchiness...Maybe it's just a coincidence, so I'll try again.”
“I got black coffee here and it was flavorful, nice sourness, and not harsh. Had a taste like it was brewed with care and not a mass produced large brewer. My gf got an iced vanilla latte and enjoyed it a lot as well. They also had a picture of the Dalai Lama with a cup of their coffee which was pretty cool - he was probably moving his kid into Northern Michigan ? 7.5/10.”
“Fast and delicious. They use local fish too. It's connected to cognition (I know, I misspelled it ) brewery and you don't have to leave the brewery to order. The fish express order window opens into the brewery.Part of the reason Marquette is so cool. Is places like this.Parking: On busy nights You might have to park a block away”
“This is the best Bubble Tea place I have ever been too. The drinks are so good and their macaroons are always adorable and delicious. They have a wide selection of drink options, and the customer service is always great and everyone is super friendly. Go almost once a week!”
“Since stumbling upon this gem almost 14 years ago, it instantly became my favorite restaurant. To this day whenever someone asks me about food in the U.P. I tell them, in my opinion it is the best place to go. You can can walk in and always expect to receive the most deliciously prepared food, a warm atmosphere with locals chatting in the background, and great service. Wether it being breakfast and a cup of coffee while reading the paper at the counter, a generous sized daily special for take out, or a phenomenal dinner such as the Thursday night chicken, or Friday night fish fry, I can’t imagine anyone leaving this place not fully satisfied. As far as mom and pops diners go, this place is hands down the absolute best I’ve come across. With it being located in Skandia, it makes for a nice drive just being on the outside of Marquette. 10/10 would recommend”
“I've been drinking Ore Dock beer for a lot of years, I've even driven out of my way to have a pint at the brewery when crossing the U.P...Low Hanging Fruit - Blueberry Cream Ale is the best damn beer being produced in Michigan currently!Crisp, light, refreshing with the amazing taste and clean finish!Amazing!!!!!!”
“Jim was a great bartender! I'm not a beer lover (my husband is), but Jim found me a beer I actually liked! Very friendly atmosphere at Blackrocks Brewery, I would definitely recommend!”
“Very friendly staff, quick service. I’ve tried a few different sandwiches and soups and they all have been excellent. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their recipes. Would highly recommend!”
“Coffee shop popular with students. You can reserve a room. They can make some basic-but-competent cocktails, a minor achievement in this town. Teas and tea lattes are good. Go here if you find Contrast too haughty.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to first floor. Second floor is stairs-only.”
“Recommend by RoadFood.com Crossroads didn't disappoint! 1 lb pasty veggies dice under 1/4 inch. Very tasty crust flaky, crispy and delicious. Got gravy. And slaw. Tried a competitor in town and was very disappointed. Came from Texas I will come back to Crossroads!!”
“My husband and I stopped by Lawry's Pasty Shop on our way home to the Lower Peninsula for dinner last November. We got 2 beef pasties and a cudighi sandwich. The food was delicious. The employees there were friendly and nice. Didn't have to wait long to get our food either. We wished we would've bought more pasties to have at home. We'll be having some shipped soon. Definitely worth the stop.”
“Amazing service, was great to see the team help each other out. We had a party of 17 people for a birthday party and had no issues what so ever. Food was cooked perfectly and there was no waiting for anything. Top notch dinner/atmosphere and everyone left happy. Thank you so much Marquette Red Lobster!”
“This place is quaint, delicious, convenient, and the staff was extremely welcoming. The person who took our order explained the menu and recommended the #1 (Brand Burger) and #3.My wife got the Falafel sand, and I got the Lakers Burger, both were amazing. Our kids really enjoyed their burgers too! 10/10Vegetarian options: The falafel burger can be made vegan, and it's delicious.Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed their food.”
“The thing that makes "small towns" special is great local eateries like Baby Cakes! Great food, nice atmosphere! Definitely stop by for a morning coffee or lunch sandwich!”
“Love love love the atmosphere, staff were so pleasant and kind. The appetizers were INCREDIBLE, highly recommend the cheese curds. Changed my life. Ascended. The filet mignon was a touch disappointing, served medium well when I asked for medium rare; but I think that can be accounted to by the fact that we were here pretty close to closing. Loved their mocktails, especially the Grateful Dead. Creme Brulee was pretty solid.”
“For how small the building is the selection is great! They have a huge variety of ice cream variants. Although I don't love soft serve and there is minimal seating. Great treat to cool off in the heat.”
“Amazing place to go for a great meal with a cocktail meet nice people The staff is amazing the place is clean I love the atmosphere and the rustic doors and enough room to enjoy my meal and not be right next door to somebody else enjoying ”
“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Marquette. If you like duck, they have the best duck dishes you've ever tasted. I somehow always have the same server and she is a treasure. Great food... wish they were open for lunch during the week!”
“Fantastic barbecue and good food for those people that don’t like barbecue. Went there on a Sunday. Brunch only on Sundays, but they have a lot of their smoked meat available. Our servers were amazing. We had a group of five adults and two small children and our servers totally nailed it. Their smoked meats are incredible. Their sauces are some of the best I’ve ever had. good selection of local and regional beers. Definitely going back next time We’re in Marquette. sorry no photos. We were too hungry.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Kids menus, crayons, crackers. they know the drill.”
