“Such a great place! Delicious muffins and treats-- the almond croissants, apple croissants, and raspberry bars are especially great! Good sandwiches, too-- I like the Swiss Train Wreck! They also make a great iced chai.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items“

“We decided to try the Lagniappe restaurant after hearing many good things about it. We tried it on the weekend so parking was free, and it was a short walk to the restaurant. The entrance we came in was on Washington and we walked down the stairs to the basement of the building, which is where Lagniappe is located. The atmosphere was amazing, with brick and wood walls creating a beautiful atmosphere. We were seated promptly since we came before the rush, and our server was very attentive and helpful. We had the mussels for an appetizer and two of us were smitten with it. The others liked the taste but weren't keen on the texture of the mussels (nothing with the food, just not a texture that was for them.) For entrees we tried the Shrimp Po Boy, the Jambalaya, the shrimp boil, and the Gumbo Ya Ya. All of this was superb! The portions on the Po Boy and the shrimp boil were perfect (we chose the one pound option.) The Gumbo Ya Ya felt a bit light; would probably not order this as a standalone meal in the future. The Jambalaya was a massive amount of food! All of us tried it, one of our members had it in addition to his gumbo, and there were still leftovers for a full meal the next day. At the end of the meal each person declared this their new favorite restaurant in Marquette. Looking forward to visiting again!Parking: There are numerous City of Marquette parking lots as well as street parking available. Both of these are paid M-F 9AM to 6PM, but outside of that it's free.“

“Excellent breakfast sandwich, had the egg/bacon/veggies one. Veggies were grilled and tasty, egg was generous and super filling. Spouse grabbed a chocolate chip muffin, top was yummy but rest was so so- nice small chips used so easier to spread out the chocolate.“

“Okay, there is something weird about Bodega that comes across as pretentious but they actually make really good HOMEMADE food. Maybe it's because they use pretty decent ingredients and the portions are actually normal sized... Price point can seem a bit jarring but if you think about the time involved in all their homemade bread and products, it's pretty legit. Service is almost 5 stars...Have had multiple experiences where its a shuffle along to make way for the next person. Overall, very good food but for the service to food price point can feel lacking. (Photos: Biscuits and gravy *get an extra side of gravy!* and spicy chicken melt)Parking: Parking lot is free but if it's a busy time of day (breakfast) it's probably going to be full. Street parking is available for free or paid, depending on time of day and day of the week.“

“I went here for breakfast the day after my birthday on August 13th and the breakfast was amazing! They were super quick with taking our order and the food didn't take long at all to come out. I highly recommend the breakfast quesadilla. I want to drive all the way to Marquette just to eat there for breakfast now haha.“
