Ton of dirty dishes by the food pick up. No options for adding sugar/cream to your coffee yourself. Latte was not hot, and not made how I requested. Frustrating paying over $6 for a latte that was terrible.
Didn’t get food, so this review is for the coffee experience only.

The seasonal drink I got, an oat milk latte with maple and pecan (I think?) was the best latte I've ever had. We were visiting from MN and I crave this drink still a week later. The scone was okay, a little dense and dry. Great staff and service, very cozy atmosphere. Loved it!

We stopped in for brunch. Got a chicken burrito and a sandwhich. I can't recall which sandwhich it was but it was great! The coffee was superb. The only downfall is the space is limited and it was busy, so hard to not bump into others as you're waiting to order.

We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.

Babycakes has become my go-to spot for coffee, and I just need to give a special shout out to Lia. She has continued to make me laugh every time I go in and makes the best drinks. If you’re looking for great service and a cozy atmosphere, stop by and say hi to Lia to for me!

Sandwich wasn’t very good, disappointed based on how expensive it was. Was soggy and didn’t taste like much, didn’t look anything like the picture they had on DoorDash. I ended up just tossing it :-/ the cookie on the other hand was very good, but not for $3+.

Babycakes made two wedding cakes for me! We have a lot of dietary restrictions and they were very helpful. We got egg free and gluten free carrot and chocolate cakes, and they were amazing! One guest said it was possibly the best cake they ever had. Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh! So many amazing options. We went here twice during our trip to Marquette.

I appreciated the multiple gluten free options in the bakery case.

FYI parking is about a $1 / hour in the area. But the 1st 15 min is free. You do still have to enter your vehicle / plate info.

Both days we visited the line was to the door. Quick service though, and everyone was very polite / friendly..

Dietary restrictions: Some items are labeled gluten free, vegan, etc.

Absolutely darling bakery. Stopped in for dessert one evening (cream cheese chocolate chunk bar and oatmeal cookie sandwich were fantastic) and had to come back the next morning for sandwiches. I haven’t stopped thinking about the spicy hen house wrap and can’t wait to get another one. The bacon quiche and meaty breakfast wrap were delicious, fresh and hot. Great coffee & tea selection, beautifully cozy space, love all the bulletins posted for local events. GF & vegan options as well. 100/10.

My guilty pleasure in MQT! Each time I come in, I want to try something new but I always end up getting the raspberry bar. I can't get over how fresh and light it is. Pictured here is also their summer menu's campfire latte. I like the rich, chocolatey flavour of their espresso!
