What can I say, this bakery is THE best in all of Michigan- upper or lower. Always smiling staff, quality food and drinks, and charming atmosphere to prepare you for the glorious views of Superior. I make it a point to visit everytime I am in town. From their savory selections to satisfying your sweet tooth, you too will understand why this bakery has earned & deserved big love! 💚

We love BabyCakes Muffin Company in Marquette and we stop there every time we are traveling in that area of the UP. Fresh and creative muffins, scones and pastries, plus delicious sandwiches and wraps. Very good selection of teas and coffee drinks. The service is always fun and professional. Highly recommend!

AMAZING pastries (especially the apple croissant) but the macaroons are a skip- not very flavorful and a bit dry. Very cool vibe in there!

Best sandwiches in town

Got several baked goods items and most of them were hard stale and tasteless. I was afraid I caught COVID and had to taste something else just to make sure it was the food and not me getting sick

We were visiting Marquette and were recommended this place by locals and I’m glad we listened. BabyCakes has a great vibe, amazing customer service, delicious coffee, quiche, and muffins. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Neat little spot. I was in town with my mom visiting family. She wanted some hard toast. It quite the hipster vibe. Unique place for that area. I had just eaten before we went there or I would have tried their food. They had some interesting and probably delicious looking options on their menu. Probably not supposed to say this, but honestly, the girls working there were quite beautiful as they were kind.

Always yummy!

Ton of dirty dishes by the food pick up. No options for adding sugar/cream to your coffee yourself. Latte was not hot, and not made how I requested. Frustrating paying over $6 for a latte that was terrible.
Didn’t get food, so this review is for the coffee experience only.

The seasonal drink I got, an oat milk latte with maple and pecan (I think?) was the best latte I've ever had. We were visiting from MN and I crave this drink still a week later. The scone was okay, a little dense and dry. Great staff and service, very cozy atmosphere. Loved it!

We stopped in for brunch. Got a chicken burrito and a sandwhich. I can't recall which sandwhich it was but it was great! The coffee was superb. The only downfall is the space is limited and it was busy, so hard to not bump into others as you're waiting to order.

We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.
