I hosted a baby shower at Barrel and Beam and the service was top knotch. Very easy to schedule; amazing communication and friendly staff. Alex and the catering folks were great to work with and the food was amazing! Love working with the bartender, as well, who was very helpful supplying me with tape and a scissors when I was decorating the space. It's a great place to hold an event -- and working with the friendly staff made it even better.

Great staff! Great beer! All natural carbonation beers that are aged in barrels. The inside of the place is beautiful. Very relaxed and comfortable. Can't wait to visit again

We rented out the Barrel Room for our wedding reception this weekend. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, the events team at Barrel + Beam was communicative, patient in answering our many questions, and full of ideas for problem solving. We were able to set up the night before our event which was an enormous convenience, and the space was beautiful for our intimate event (40 people total). We would definitely recommend working with Barrel + Beam for your event!

Chelsea and Alex are the ultimate dream team, along with their amazing staff. We hosted our wedding here last weekend and have nothing but fantastic things to say! It’s a beautiful venue with a great atmosphere, and the delicious food is the cherry on top. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for your next event or just to go chill and have a beer with your friends.

We had our daughter's Bridal shower there last Sunday. It was a wonderful venue, minimal decorations needed and the staff were great to work with. We were able to have additional time to set up and clean up. It was super affordable. The guests loved it.

A diamond in the rough! This was The North Woods Supper Club when I was at NMU 30+ years ago. It was the place. The outside looks a little ragged, it's still really nice on the inside. Great beer, they focus on farmhouse ales and sours... but there was a lager here today. Service is Outstanding!! Love it.

Although I didn't eat here, I spent an afternoon with Alex and her team and loved their passion for their craft and locally sourced ingredients. Next time I am up North I will stop in again! ;-)
