We make a point to eat here whenever we are visiting the area. Food is excellent, piping hot and fast. Staff is very nice. Just a super well run location by great people.

Gross. The food wasn't good.It was very dirty in the restaurant especially the salad bar. The lettuce was pink! Service was great though. Very expensive for what they are offering!. my chicken sandwich may as well been called the rubber sandwich. Didn't even get it to go box. I guess you're paying for the nostalgia would not recommend though.

The Big Boy restaurant in Marquette, Michigan is terrible, extremely dirty, and smells awful. Walking in the front door should have been my first clue to leave, the smell was terrible! But no, I was hungry. The cute little girl directed us to a booth next to some very dirty tables. Once I sat down I began to notice, very dirty fingerprints, all over the woodwork, the windows, the tables. I ordered salad and taco bar. That was my next mistake. If they can't clean the tables, the lights, woodwork, tables, chairs. what makes me think they're gonna wash the dishes or maybe the salad taco bar? Without eating very much, I decided to leave. When leaving, I decided to find a manager and mention how dirty his restaurant is. But unfortunately I couldn't find anyone. To discuss it with. Yuck!!!!!!

Wish I would have taken a photo. But the food looked so good i couldn't wait to dive in! The restaurant was clean (bathrooms included) staff was warm and friendly. If you have a bunch of hungry teens the breakfast buffet is a Must. Had breakfast and dinner and both outstanding.

It's been 30 years since I've even seen a Big Boy restaurant. Drove past this one, hit the brakes, and turned around and pulled in. Food was excellent; just as it always was. Service was great. Atmosphere is fun. This will always be a must-stop everytime I come to the UP.
I can't even give it 1 star it was so dirty and gross!

I hadn't been to a Big Boy in decades.
The food still tastes great and is well made, though the prices are a bit high. $16 for a turkey sandwich is pretty pricey. It tasted great and was presented well, though, as was the fish sandwich. The fries were fantastic. (I didn't get pictures of the food, I was HUNGRY, lol)
Our server was attentive and friendly. We were seated and served quickly.
It was worth revisiting for the nostalgia.

Stopped here on our way to the Keweenaw for breakfast. Autumn, our waitress was very nice and professional. Our breakfast order was delivered pretty quickly. The food was good as well.
