I’m a Titanium Elite Marriott Bonvoy member. But I always INSIST on staying here on business trips. Staff and service are excellent. Rooms & beds are clean (if not cleaner) than brand new built properties, and this hotel is nearly 100 years old. The rooftop bar has spectacular drinks. The best spot to stay in Marquette. Second to none.
Staying in the penthouse suite at the Landmark Inn was, without a doubt, the most remarkable hotel experience I’ve ever had. The suite is like stepping back in time with a touch of modern luxury—a unique blend of elegance and history. I was pleasantly surprised by the Landmark given its age. It has nice, basic rooms and some great views of Lake Superior. It sits on top of a hill and is an easy walk away from restaurants and shops in Marquette. It is roughly 1.2 miles from the UNM campus and on a nice day it's enjoyable to walk from the hotel down Third Street to window shop or stop for a drink or bite to eat.
