Great coffee, great atmosphere. Get a cup and hang out. A more apt description would be a coffee lounge. That is what makes the atmosphere so conducive to hanging out, working, reading books, or just hanging out. The food is tasty but seemingly addicted to preparation by a panini press. They could upgrade the baked goods, but to be clear, this is a must visit spot in Marquette.

Not recommended. They don’t use real cups or plates, everything is in to go containers! Creating such a waste of trash. They’re supposed to call out your name when drinks/food is ready, but you can’t hear them & they just let your stuff get cold. Don’t waste your money or mood, this place sucks.

We came here for drinks and only one out of the two that we ordered tasted good. I ordered a chai tea latte which sadly I don’t recommend and ended up tossing. But my husband’s coffee beverage was very good! We only had drinks so I can’t say for sure about the food. The staff was very nice so I would give 5 stars to the service.

Ordered a brass monkey and a Miner sandwich. Received the Brass Monkey without any chocolate. Talked to the baristas and was told it would be remade. Manager let me know that there was chocolate in the drink, and did not engage further in conversation when I stated I couldn't taste any chocolate. Every Brass Monkey that my friends ordered had chocolate and could easily be tasted.
Ordered a Miner sandwich and was told a 25 minute wait. 40 minutes later and still no sandwich.
I'm very disappointed in the service regarding my drink which tasted like watered down banana. After 4 years of ordering coffee from here, I feel that I would know what the Brass Monkey tastes like.

Contrast is one of the best coffee shops in the UP. Food is always fresh, we typically order online 10min ahead on a busy weekend then come in to pick up and it's ready by the time we arrive!

Cozy! The shop was your authentic coffee shop. It had many places to sit. The interior was clean and bright. The lady at the register was very kind and patient. Prices were standard. It is wheel chair accessible with a ramp. There’s a generous amount of items on their menu. They have pastries I wanted to try. The coffee tastes excellent!!

Got two drinks. Matcha latte and a signature Cool Summer. The Cool Summer was good. Not sweet at all. And my match latte was just okay. I’ve had better. The staff were friendly and the drinks were made pretty fast.

I wish the barista standing around chewing her gum had stepped in and helped the cashier pour drip coffee, brewed more coffee, or had helped to expedite the line somehow. 20 min wait in line for the end of the pot. As a former barista at a busy coffee shop… not impressed at all by the quality or speed of service
