Greatest food around, even ask Obama himself 😂 (he’s been here) place is awesome between the super friendly staff and amazing service to the relaxing atmosphere and great views if you get a window seat! Plus to top it all of there is a mass selection of candy downstairs with little odds and ends of memorabilia or kids toys. Will always return here ready for the next great experience!
You can tell that this local buisness really cares about sustainable food practices. I love that they serve Dead River coffee and have lots of GF options! The staff goes above and beyond and are warm and welcoming. A definite must-stop if you're in Marquette!
A Marquette landmark and lovely shop. Enjoy the food, ice cream, treats and atmosphere.
Food was decent but service was poor. Prices are high, and they charged me more than what the menu asks.
Never had slower service in my life and there was only one table occupied when we were seated she took our drink order immediately and we waited over 10 minutes for water and then took almost another ten minutes to take our order food was mediocre at best and waited for 15 minutes to get our bill after she took my plate! And we would have had to wait longer but I waived her down to ask if we were getting a bill this could be the last place on earth offering food and I wouldn't go here again extremely disappointed with everything here
Bad service. It was slow. Food sucked. Hashbrowns not cooked. Eggs cooked on high so brown and hard. Server never came back to check on us or give us the bill. I will never go back.
The chocolates and caramel are amazing. The caramel melts in your mouth! One flavor never dominates another. Perfect!
I've boughten some to send back home to family because they are so good.
Got several different kinds of chocolate and it was all very good.
Seriously the cutest shop...stumbled upon it on a random trip to Marquette, staff was so friendly and helpful!
I used to go to Northern and I absolutely love the sandwiches at Donkers! The West Coast Ruben never disappoints and I love that they use locally sourced foods.

I’ve lived near the Marquette area all my life, but this was the first time I ended up eating lunch here. I was with my girlfriend and she had a burger and I had a Chicken sandwich. When our food had arrived, I noticed my girlfriend’s burger was cooked medium well, yet she ordered it medium rare. When I ate my food I was unimpressed. The focaccia bread was overdone and the sandwich tasted bland. By the end, we had a check for $39, just for a burger, a sandwich, and kettle chips. About a half an hour after we left, I noticed I had some abdominal pain. To spare readers details, I ended up with food poisoning. Overall I had a terrible experience, and if you’re looking for a good place to eat, I’d go literally anywhere else. The chocolates were good though.
I had a really good club, and snuck a bite of my wife's Ruben, it was excellent also.
The climb up several flights of stairs was totally worth it. Freshly squeezed OJ, good coffee, and one of the best bfast sammies I’ve had in a long time. (The Yooper)
The service was perfect 👌. The food was excellent. Lots of different chocolate covered candies. Highly recommend
