This is my favorite restaurant in Marquette. I've thoroughly enjoyed every dish I've tried there.

I would have loved to give this place a 5 star but there were a couple things I didnt like 1. When we ordered our lunch the waitress/hostess asked us if we would like a bowl of soup, so we said yes, sm or LG? We Both chose large after all those little bitty cups dont hold much more than a taste right! So we figured about a cup and a half to maybe a 2 cup size of spoil. Wrong! Out comes 2 huge bowls each easily hold 4-5 cups apiece! We were like wow this is fantastic what a great serving for our lunch! Now our lunch meal was $9 and $10 each when the Bill came we were shocked! The soup was $10 & $12 each! Our bill was $50 for lunch the pop was over $2 each also! This was one issue. The next issue was with me personally. I admit i am over weight not a tremendous amount. But its obvious I could loose a few pounds. So when taking our order the first thing the waitress does is accept my husbands order for a pop, but not me she has to make sure I didnt mean a diet pop. I said no and she repeats herself you want a regular pop no diet and she lists off all the diet pop available. Again I said no. Then she asks us our preferred spice level from 1-5 we both chose 3. Our meal comes and its obvious my husband has more food in his plate than I do. And I even comment about it to him because its So obvious. Ok what ever we continue to eat. My husbands food is spicy. Mine not it hardly has a bite to it and yet we both asked for the same level! Bottom line I felt judged by my weight and my being a female as if i couldnt handle the heat maybe Idk. But the persistance on the diet drink and the less food on my plate?

I went there last time I was on vacation and had the best General Tso's chicken I've ever had, and I've been to a LOT of Chinese restaurants! Portion size wasn't super huge for the price, but the food was incredibly good. Restaurant was clean and beautiful.
