If you are passing through Marquette and you aren't stopping to bike, fish, play on the water, or spend some time in their beautiful campgrounds, you MUST stop for a bite at this restaurant. Smelted Pizza x Matt’s on Presque is an absolute gem in Marquette! We’ve ordered takeout twice now, and both times the experience was outstanding. The pizza is incredibly authentic—easily some of the best we’ve had outside of Europe. The crust is perfectly crisp, the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor, and every bite brought back memories of true European-style pizza. Also the sandwiches are a blast!!! Try the vegetarian tuna…really good (chickpeas replaces tuna)!
