I was there one night and I was told the kitchen closes at 9pm and I ordered my food at 8pm. 20 or 30 minutes have passed and a waitress comes to me and says that the kitchen is closed and I won’t be getting my food. I tried to salvage the night by getting a drink at the bar and I’m 2 drinks deep and the bar tender tells me they are closing due to lack of service coming in tonight. I get booted from the pub. It was nearly 9:45pm. Everything and everyone told me they stopped serving food at 9pm in the whole pub closes at midnight. What a joke the landmark used to have this old style vibe with a whole bunch of class to it but now it looks like cheep ikea vibe.

Just came in for a late night drink and mispronounced Skandia as in Skandia Township. I was promptly informed by the bartender how people ‘born in the UP’ feel about ‘outsiders’. As an autistic and disabled women I have literally been an outsider my entire life. You never really get used to it and comments like these hurt every time. Maybe work with your staff on not taking out their internalized garbage on other people. It is okay to be proud of your heritage and to feel like you belong to a place. But when you become insular and exclusionary you have a certain kind of sickness. Mediocre drinks, mean bartender. We won’t be back.

Got to watch an OT Lions game in the Pub after cocktails in the Crow's Nest. I was burned out on the Landmark but I think they nailed it this time.

I went here based on the vegan items listen on their online menu (specifically the jackfruit tacos), none of which they had on the menu in person besides the cauliflower wings. The server told me the menu online is an old menu. I wish I would’ve known, so I could’ve gone somewhere else. I asked if they had any vegan substitutes for cheese, mayo, etc and was told no. I ordered a drink and the cauliflower wings. The drink was absolutely terrible. It came salted but didn’t say on the menu that it was salted. I took one drink and couldn’t finish it. I asked the server if I could send it back, she said no. She didn’t say “let me see what I can do for you, I’ll ask my manager, etc”. She said I can get you a new drink but I’ve still got to charge you for that one. I thought that was pretty shitty - she could’ve at least tried considering the drink was terrible. Ive never had a server not offer to fix something, somehow. And the cauliflower wings were the worst cauliflower wings I’ve ever had. They did have vegan ranch - thankfully - but otherwise was literally just heavily battered cauliflower. And they were $16 - the price of almost an entire meal. I didn’t finish them. See photos of the cauliflower for reference. Totally bad experience overall, wouldn’t go back, wouldn’t recommend.

Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options - very little vegan options. The menu is false. Don’t go if you’re vegan.

Unfortunately, we went for food that we saw on their website which was no longer on the menu and we were disappointed with the cauliflower wings and the drinks.

This place has a very friendly atmosphere and offers a nice alternative to the range of college bar subtypes around town. The drinks are great and you are as likely to see professors and old townies here as students and tourists. It is one of the only kitchens in town that's open after like 8pm, too. You won't be disappointed and I recommend bopping up to the bar on the top floor for one round to enjoy the ludicrously great view of the harbor.

Really quite good for a hotel restaurant/bar! The bartender was great, the food was good (my quesadilla was cheese-crusted on one side which really kept it crispy), prices were average. The blueberry bourbon bbq wings were a little too sweet for Hubby’s tastes; we decided thin slices of fresh jalapeño would balance it (because amateur chefs who eat too much can totally make these suggestions, lol). Lots of happy people enjoying great meals.

Stopped in at the Northland Gastropub during a recent, first-time visit to Marquette. Wow! The food and service were outstanding. The dishes we chose - the whitefish sandwich and chicken salad wrap - were creative and delicious. So glad we chose this wonderful place. I highly recommend it. A true gem!
