The cheese burgers are the best in town. I have tried 27 other burgers in the UP and this is definitely in the top 3. The fries are good as well. The atmosphere is that of any local neighborhood bar. A must stop for the best burger Marquette has to offer !
My son and his buddies have gone to Pat's before. I figured he and I would go today. A no-nonsense bar with certainly a no-nonsense bartender. Good cheeseburgers and fries. Behave yourself and you'll be fine.
This place is an institution. I almost feel like a Google review is betraying some unspoken rule. Don't come in here all touristy with a gaggle of kids and bull*hit. Don't curse either.If what you are looking for is a solid bar burger and fries this is the only place to be. It's exactly everything you want and expect a classic bar burger to be. The fries are delish and the chili was good too. Go somewhere else if you want fluff and what not come here to grab a beer...
