I made a one day visit to Marquette yesterday via Indian Trails Bus and Rice Paddy was on my list of places to visit. The long walk was well worth it because the moment I entered Rice Paddy I knew that I was in one of the best Thai restaurants in America. Exceptional service from owners Dean and Nang. I had the pad thai and it was very sweet and lacking in any spice. I also though it was strange the pad thai noodles also came with rice. Everything was cooked fine just not what I expect when ordering pad thai, I would expect a small amount of sweetness and more salty and umami.
Also note CASH ONLY and Carry out ONLY, made that mistake and had to eat the $4 ATM fee inside.

This is one of those places where searching reviews is important. I wholeheartedly don't understand why this restaurant is rated so high based on its food. But you don't come here for the food. You're here for the theatrics.
