Used to be frequent visitors a few years back. Came to visit and very disappointed.Pros: seated quickly, food came quickly, free refills on chips and salsa. Great view of waterCons: dead fly traps on windows next to table. Flies and rice on window sill. Dirty carpet(spilled or stained salsa on carpet). Never refilled drinks. Stale chips. Prices went up, environmental atmosphere went down.

Absolutely delicious food & great service. Wonderful restaurant overlooking the lake. Decor was nice too.

The only thing this place has going for it is the view. The disappointments kept mounting. The margaritas are cloying sweet. We asked for a table outside but the hostess did not seem to understand that that we went for a walk and came back to wait at the bar and we lost our place in line to get a table. Our table, by the windows at the back had fly traps stuck to the upper panes with bugs affixed to the glue. The entre served to another diner at the bar did not look appealing. So, after getting seated (inside) I asked the server what she recommended as the “thing to order”. She recommended the “Tex Mex” saying everyone who orders it seems to like it. It was, in essence, a gross conglomeration of beef, chicken and shrimp. The beef was of utmost poor quality. The server seemed nice enough but, my companion asked for sour cream after her carnitas were served and we never got it. The only thing this place has going for it is the view.

The food is pretty good-your average Mexican restaurant. Food rating is a 3. But we went for the best view in town sitting outside which was a 5!!!

We had a great view of the bay from our seat. We came in for lunch and had the lunch chimichanga and deluxe burrito, both were good, the chip and salsa was so so. They were very busy with the art festival.

We had a delicious meal with quick service and a beautiful view. We ate their street chicken tacos and rice. The amount of food was generous and very tasty! We will return!

The restaurant is lovely but I can give no more than 2 stars because of the poor service and food. We ordered vegetarian meals and stressed we did not eat meat. When our food came, one of the meals had beef. The waitress apologized and said she had clearly marked our order as vegetarian, it was the kitchens fault. She took it back and returned to tell me there would be a quite a wait but she was sorry. My husband was completely finished with his platter of food when mine finally came out. I asked for it to go and we left. No compensation was offered other than more apologies. A beautiful restaurant and decent waitstaff can’t make up for a poorly managed kitchen.

"Best gaucamole we have had ever." Seated immediately Friday night. Excellent service and quick to fulfill orders.Clean bathrooms and plenty of space for seating. T BONE steak was cooked as desired and excellent. Street tacos were classic and fresh.

Food has changed over the last year and is expensive and mediocre. Very bland for a Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are overpriced and not great. Service was lacking. I ordered enchiladas supreme which I've had in the past here. Not the same as what's stated on menu at all. Boyfriend ordered shrimp tacos which stated came with 3 and he received 2. Restaurant is charging more and isn't honoring old menu. At least update your menu to represent your current options so people are disappointed and feeling so ripped off.

Super friendly, warm and welcoming staff! The food is off the charts delicious, every single item we ordered off the menu, all the food and drinks were all perfectly delicious. Big portions. Great prices! You are not leaving this restaurant hungry. Fresh, hot and homemade yummy! Thank you so much 5 million stars!

The food was just ok and a little pricey overall for what you get. Great atmosphere over looking the docks and water front. The service was good and friendly. During a busy time, parking could be a challenge.

Vegetarian options: As usual, mexican has a number of vegetarian options.

Food was much better than the other Mexican place in town - La Catrina. Vibe/atmosphere was better too. Service was quick and I only ate four tortilla chips before they had our food to our table on Father’s Day! The quick service was quite surprising! Food and drinks were all tasty. It’s not like the authentic Mexican you can get close to the border, but for the UP, it hits the spot (especially when I don’t wanna be the one cooking Mexican and I cook quite a few Mexican dishes at home!)

This place is upstairs above another restaurant. Just go in their door and walk upstairs. The food was very good. Seemed they were a little short staffed. Our waiter was running like crazy. But he was very attentive. Waited a little but you could see he was getting everything done. Food was great
