This place is a must stop in Marquette. The service is great, the drinks strong, and the environment is welcoming. The food is pub food, so embrace it and know that most of it will be deep fried. But, the food is good and no reason to skip it. They have broken the code on service, fostering a team approa h that makes everyone feel welcom.
I'm not always into the bar food scene, but this was a pretty good visit. The shrimp and cod combo with onion rings were tasty & the portions were perfect for me. It's usually pretty busy, but those workers are always hustling.
I don't live anywhere near here. That is unfortunate because I think about their French onion soup at least 2-3 times a month. I have tried maybe 50 other French onion soups and nothing compares to THIS French onion soup. I'm glad I just had a mighty crock and will look forward to next year when I can have one again.
