I visited twice during my time in Marquette. First, I went for breakfast and ordered a bloody mary and the tofu scramble.
The bloody mary was really good! I had high hopes for the tofu scramble. Honestly, I was impressed they had it! They have quite a few vegan options on their menus. The tofu scramble was not that good though. I was surprised to see sliced carrots in the scramble - a lot of them. There was also kale and I think mushrooms as well. I felt like there was only 1/16th...
It was our first visit to The Delft .. we'll definitely come back! We had a delicious meal (I had the lamb ragu which was amazing) with friendly, efficient service. Loved the atmosphere, too: our waiter explained the history of the building.
We hired the Delft for catering for our wedding and I cannot get over how amazing it was. Hands down, it was the best wedding food I’ve ever had. We had people legit try stealing the little cups of the whipped ricotta and honey, and the shawarma skewers were to die for. It’s been almost a month since our wedding and we are STILL getting compliments on the food.
