I have been in love with Louie's Cinnamon Nut Rolls since I was little. At least 40years. I actually like everything they make. The Cinnamon Nut Rolls have just been the favorite from my first visit. I live in BattleCreek. Our Louie's closed just a very few years ago. I absolutely travel to Marshall for these doughnuts. I would rather have Louie's over any store bakery or other doughnut shops. #1 In my book!!!

Local bakery with the freshest items possible. They are made fresh daily and when they run out they are out. Donuts, cookies, pies and other various bakery items. Yum.

There are always extra machines available, and the owner is very helpful if assistance is needed. It has a very old-school laundry mat vibe, and it makes the atmosphere pretty chill.
It's a home town bakery most the time the donuts are still warm
Amazing donuts!
First visit to Louie’s Bakery, the lady behind the counter made me feel rushed. While I was trying to pay same lady rolled her eyes, waved her hand at the sign behind her regarding the $10 minimum purchase with a credit card. Again, first time visit, I was looking at the displays, not the signs behind and above displays. With that being said, if she would have handled that with a bit more patience and less attitude I would have purchased the required limit. My doughnuts were good, nothing that makes up for the rudeness they also serve. Next road trip, depending on travel direction, I will keep going and visit Battle Creek or Jackson.

If you are having a bad day and need a pick me up- go to Louies. Your tattered soul gets elevated with just one bite and you have a close encounter of an almost holy kind... i swear I almost met the Big Guy himself right there at Louie's. Do it. You won't regret it.
I have stopped in on a few occasions to pick up doughnuts for my co-workers and they are delicious! They open early, which is hard to find, so that is a huge plus!
Was fantastic the cookies are soft and the doughnuts are fresh
Staff are very nice!!
Rude, rude, rude. This lady lost the sale of serval dozen cookies today with her rudeness. She interrupted my wife multiple times. I tried to ask about prices on dozens and was cut off. She was rushing us so fast we felt like we couldn't take a few seconds to look, She rang up the first few cookies we had picked out so fast and shot us a total we felt like it was time to go without buying any more. Sure hope this woman isn't this crabby every day!
