Wow, we moved nearby from Tucson AZ. It has been so hard to find the great Mexican style food we are used to in Tucson. We just found it! Blown away by the great familiar flavors and amazing selection. Portions sizes are huge as well. From the beans to the chicken and beef, all were so good! Thank you for the great food and the great service!

Nothing we had at this restaurant was remotely good or flavorful. I have traveled all over the US for work. In 30 years of working on the road this place is easily at the bottom of the list of restaurants I would return to. We should have walked out when we noticed how empty the restaurant was.

First time there. The food was plentiful and delicious. Great value for the money.
This is not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. This is very authentic from southern Mexico. Lots of flavor and a great spice level. Portions are very large. Service was friendly and fast. No beer and I didn’t like the bagged tortilla chips. Tasted like donkey chips.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever ate at. Lots of locals inside, so they must like it. Chips were stale and overcooked, which could break a tooth. The queso was like velveeta but chunky, salsa was poor, and I didn’t know you could mess up nachos. They serve buttered tortillas, which are basically a stick of butter melted on tortillas. The sample platter you can order prior to ordering was enough to know it was not going to be good. The staff was very kind.

Usually I would give this place five stars because it is my favorite Mexican food of all time. But something was a little different this time with the gravy. Still good, just different. They said there is no written recipe, and a couple different people make it. Seemed like maybe they used a different pepper and not enough cumin. I'll try again. I've been a faithful customer of Oye Amigos and its founding restaurant, Emilio's, for over 50 years. I know the gravy. It's still the best Mexican food I've ever had, including in Mexico. 🌮
