excellent food and great service.
Delicious! Definitely not your “typical” Mexican restaurant. If I hadn’t had people with me to tell me what to get, I probably wouldn’t have loved my meal (I’m not great at finding my favorite foods from the different Mexican restaurants these days lol) They allowed me to have a little sampler plate where I learned I loved the beans, rice, and chicken (usually I’m not a fan of Mexican rice and usually I love ground beef… I was thankful for the sampler plate to learn which things I liked best here!) The table is served with a whole bunch of delicious buttery corn tortillas. I ordered a small thing of beans, rice, and cheese, and just poured those into a buttery tortilla with some of their jalapeño sauce and it was delicious! I also ordered the chips and salsa and combined my salsa with the jalapeño sauce - delicious! My husband loved his enchilada with (super) spicy gravy on top! The spicy gravy was delicious but probably a bit too hot for me. Will definitely be our go-to Mexican place now!
Love everything they make never fails to satisfy me
I've had there for since I was 12. I love it.

Have been eating these beans and tortilla since before I was born (well, Mom ate it a lot when she was pregnant with me). Emilio’s was our go to reward for good report cards, my favorite place to eat with friends in college and we now plan Oye Amigos family dinners whenever one of us comes in to town.
The service is so friendly and efficient. The beans and tortillas are out of this world. (Bean, cheese, onion enchiladas, extra hot, gravy on the side for dipping and all the green sauce!)
This is just a really casual, welcoming, gem of a place with kind people and great food.

Really authentic Mexican food. Our waiter was fantastic. We were there around 2:00 and I am still stuffed. I brought enough leftovers home for at least another meal. Can't wait until tomorrow. ?

I am giving this restaurant a 5 star review across the board because the food was excellent. It was the absolute best chimichanga I have ever had ANYWHERE. The service was also excellent. I did not get our servers name, but he was awesome taking care of everything before we even had to ask. The atmosphere was comfortable. Nothing fancy, but we really enjoyed old memorabilia about the old Emilios. If I am not mistaken, the owner of Oye' Amigos worked for Emilio for 25 years. In my opinion, the food at Oye' Amigos was better than Emilios, and it was much, much cleaner.

I have ate at this restaurant several times through the years. I don't know if it's the pandemic that everyone else blames everything on for what the deal is. But the quality of the food isn't there anymore indefinitely? The amount is gone by the wayside. I had a taco salad last night at that restaurant. That a little kid would have still been hungry. I don't know what them people are thinking. I know times are hard for a small business these days, but taking away the amount of food you used to put out and downsizing the amount is not the way to save your business....

I have no idea how anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food can eat here. I tried for some steak tacos on corn tortillas with onion cilantro lime and salsa verde. Didn’t have steak, said they have beef but put potatoes on it (?), didn’t have lime or cilantro (idk how you can have tacos without either). Ordered two chicken tacos with onions and green salsa (they didn’t know what salsa verde was). What I got was a plate with two tacos soaked in some sort of gravy, the chicken looked boiled, and it smelled horrible. I paid and left without eating any of it

Food was great. Portion size was very sufficient. Medium-low level of spiciness to the food. Green hot sauce they have is very good. Ate: Combo plate, mexican chili cheese dog

Disgusting Never have I had flour tortillas drenched in butter, couldn't even use them as my bread. I'm mexican that's my bread
Rice so over powered with cumin ,not good. Could not even see taco ,food all mash, and chalupa ,suppose to be on Mexican bread was literally a container with beans lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and cheese no bread. What? UGH.THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD. Owner should NOT take cues from previous owner. Owner said customer ask for extra butter smothered on tortillas. Who, wants to eat that much grease. Insane

Excellent Mexican Meal. Food was absolutely fabulous. Friendly staff and good prices. You get what you pay for. The gravy was superb.
The food was not good at all, a lot of the food clearly has ingredients that aren't meant to be there and the seasonings they use are very strange and I can't even guess what was put in it, the taco beef was ground...and it tasted salty and like cheese a little bit? The gravy had me perplexed, it had a confusing sweet potato flavor but the color made it look really good.
The service is wonderful though!! The chefs are incredibly quick and the waitress I got was so so sweet and me feel very welcomed!! I also wanna mention that the food is very affordable and I feel like I paid a reasonable price for what I got and i do see that there are people there who genuinely enjoy this mysterious food and for them I bet it's an amazing deal!! And the singular taco I got was a whole lot, they will really fill your plate!!
There was one thing I really did like, it was the Jalapeño salsa Verdé!! Just if you order it you should probably ask for no carrots.
