I recommend EVERYTHING.This place is like home for my wife and I,our kids as well as our grandkids. The staff is the best around ...we aren't just customers they treat you family . If you haven't eaten there you're missing out. The food is fantastic with more then enough to fill your belly ❤️
This is not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. This is very authentic from southern Mexico. Lots of flavor and a great spice level. Portions are very large. Service was friendly and fast. No beer and I didn’t like the bagged tortilla chips. Tasted like donkey chips.
Usually I would give this place five stars because it is my favorite Mexican food of all time. But something was a little different this time with the gravy. Still good, just different. They said there is no written recipe, and a couple different people make it. Seemed like maybe they used a different pepper and not enough cumin. I'll try again. I've been a faithful customer of Oye Amigos and its founding restaurant, Emilio's, for over 50 years. I know the gravy....
