First and last time going here to try anything. $38 dollars for a thin cheap tasting pizza crust with only pepperoni, and a regular homemade size Ruben sandwich that coats over 13 dollars all by itself! The sandwich Hardly any meat on it and the meat was chewy and not even very good. You can get way better quality and quality at almost any other restaurant for $38. Ridiculous!

You think the crash at the fountain is funny. Using the crash at the fountain to promote your business. Why dont you donate to have the fountain fixed.

Good food, but $18.75 for a sandwich (like two slices of regular bread size sandwich) chips and drink is way too much money.

It’s been many years since I’ve been there. A little background is in order. I am originally from Chicago and traveled around the country for my job including New York City. I knew not to compare Pastrami Joes to delis in those areas. My wife got the Joes Club and said it was good. I had the Joes hot pastrami. It only had 3 slices of meat the were somewhat flavorless. I know costs have increased but for what it costs I really expected a little more in quality and flavor. We both had the lobster bisque and it was kind of sweet. If I do go back I will try a different more sizable sandwich.

Cozy little place with a heck of a good sandwich. The Zapps potato chips are awesome but with they had the spicy Crawtater flavor in stock. It's a little pricey, but not bad when you consider Grand River is more expensive across the street.

We tried this small deli on the way during a road trip, looking for something other than standard fast food. The food was excellent and the service surpassed experiences I've had at top tier restaurants.

The wife and I were traveling through Marshall trying to find a place to eat and came upon “Pastrami Joes” Ok first of all, Joe has obviously never had a real pastrami sandwich! I ordered a $13.00 HOT pastrami and got a cold pre sliced pastrami meat sandwich the meat was so lean it was like eating leather. More like what I can only describe as BUDIG packaged meat. If your going to put Pastrami in you business name at least make sure it’s real pastrami ! I was asked if I wanted a side with it ….like chips or coleslaw …$13.00 is just for the sandwich ? Ok I ordered the coleslaw and got what I would describe as a Costco sample size of coleslaw? The environment and staff seemed nice but when I said something about the sandwich being cold the server said “ well they normally toast the bread” well if that’s the case they missed that too! If you want a real pastrami sandwich … this is not an example of that at all!

We wanted to like this place. Cute inside, clean, quick service, and exactly what a tiny, casual shop should look like. The food was not good. The roast beef on one sandwich was beige. Not brown/pink/red like all deli roast beef I've ever seen in my VERY long life, but beige. And, dry and tasteless. We placed the order to have regular mayo and not "horsey" mayo, but got the horsey anyway, and had to have them make a new sandwich. We saw the "No horsey, no onion" right on the digital display and the receipt, so we know we ordered it correctly. The pastrami is not housemade - and the cashier seemed offended and weirded out that I asked - and was also kind of blah. Lovely bread, nice amount of mustard and pickles, but the meat had gristly fat which meant I'd take a bite, and a whole chunk would come out, as I couldn't bite through the gristle. Pastrami was moist, but lacking in flavor, surprisingly. I've never had a pastrami sandwich that wasn't fantastic, so for a place called "Pastrami Joe's", I figured this would be great. Sadly, it was not.
