It’s been many years since I’ve been there.
A little background is in order. I am originally from Chicago and traveled around the country for my job including New York City.
I knew not to compare Pastrami Joes to delis in those areas.
My wife got the Joes Club and said it was good. I had the Joes hot pastrami. It only had 3 slices of meat the were somewhat flavorless. I know costs have increased but for what it costs I really expected a little more in quality and flavor....
Cozy little place with a heck of a good sandwich. The Zapps potato chips are awesome but with they had the spicy Crawtater flavor in stock. It's a little pricey, but not bad when you consider Grand River is more expensive across the street.
We tried this small deli on the way during a road trip, looking for something other than standard fast food. The food was excellent and the service surpassed experiences I've had at top tier restaurants.
