We had dinner at Schuler's Restaurant, wonderful service, great food. We ordered Prime Rib. Received a great cut of meat, along with a salad and a dish of garden vegetables, all were tasty and correctly cooked. This is a great place to take your special someone for a great meal. I tractor stop there whenever weakening the area.

Stopped in for a lunch buffet with our Corvette Club as we traveled to Mackinaw City. Had a very nice room set up for us and I believe everyone very much enjoyed the lunch selectios provided.

If you have never stopped at this historic restaurant, add it to your shirt list! There is a long history to learn about and the decor is truly one of a kind.Their menu has something for everyone of all ages and tastes. Some of the items are classics, some modern favorites and other items rarely seen. Everything is delicious and perfectly prepared. Their cooking team is TOP notch and very fast. You can taste the love in their craft.The prompt service has a family feel and is very inviting. Multiple people will help ensure every table is well taken care of even during busy dinner time. You can see they are well oiled and work hard to keep running smoothly.There is a good selection of beer, wine and seasonal drinks. Plus they have really good desert options and have seasonal items. We had a very unique chocolate mint pie in mid March that was perfection.This is the kind of place you'll want to visit time and time again. It's a great place to stop in when passing through or make it a trip and stay in the historical hotel.Schuler is a true gem. A special place that each time you visit, you leave with a full belly, a full heart and a nourished soul.
