Had a great 50th birthday dinner at Schulers!! Filet Mignon, Prime Rib and French Dip were the delicious entre choices with Swiss Onion soup and a particularly delicious brownie/peppermint ice cream shared dessert. On the way, my Mom shared that my grandmother had treated my parents and maternal aunt to a delicious meal at Schulers in 1967 on the return trip from Chicago to Michigan for my parents surprise wedding shower. That made the dinner even more special. Service was attentive...
Cod fish was over done - hard crust at bottom and rest was very dry. French dip meat was very tough service and the atmospheres was excellent.

Not used to fine dining. This is fine dining to a standard Michigander. I should have asked for a pitcher of water. We couldn't get enough for our table. The food was delicious. Our server was sweet.
