Everything from the music to the ice cream to the staff was phenomenal all around. We live almost an hour from this place and I’d drive back tomorrow again. Wish this place was closer to me but also really don’t because I’d spend all my money there. Love True North!!

Vaughn is one of the most hard working, dedicated people I know. He makes all of the ice cream himself, which is rare from most places these days, and the waffle cones are also made in store. As a teenager, I know that it would be a wonderful place to work, and all of my friends say there are stacks of applications that are always ready if Vaughn needs them. Wonderful place!

Always a favorite! Come here regularly with my grand-daughter, who has grown up within these walls. The flavors are delicious, and the owner truly cares about his product and customers.
The ice cream is AMAZING. I know it's home made so that probably explains the limit on flavors. Kinda disappointed to not be able to get Traverse City Fudge lol but they still have something on the menu for everyone in our house! Staff is always friendly. Remodel is nice and love seeing a small business in Marshall making it! I do love they have banana splits because alot of places don't. Definitely get your moneys worth as well. My review is being updates a couple years later, the place still ROCKS! The servings are very generous, a small is what a large would be other places, they now offer adult(over 21) flavors and they're also amazing! The owner is so friendly and a really nice guy, staff is always friendly and helpful. Even after a couple years this place is still 5 stars. They were closed one night and I went to a different place and regretted it right away! If you're in Marshall and want great ice cream, this is the place to visit.
