I have been to bird dog before and thought it was fantastic so I chose to come here for my birthday dinner. It pains me to say this but food preparation has declined significantly. I ordered the T-bone steak dinner ($67) the menu said it came with asparagus and a lemon ricotta- which sounded good except when it came the lemon ricotta mixture was SWEET. The amount of this sweet lemon ricotta mixture on the plate was ABSURD- it covered the whole plate. My asparagus was mushy and drenched in the sweet lemon ricotta mixture and my steak was overcooked and was not a quality cut of meat. I was extremely disappointed. My son and dad raved about their burgers and my husband liked his crab cakes. I just wish the steak dish hadn’t been such a flop.

Food was excellent, drinks were pretty good. I will not be returning though. A simple lunch date for two should not cost 75+ for what we got. I thought the quality was good, but overpriced in my opinion. Indoor sitting area is very crowded and tight.
Amazing food, amazing service. Huge fan of the brunch menu especially! I don’t eat out too often as I eat fairly simple food most of the time and don’t like spending a large amount of money on a single meal, but Bird Dog is my number one exception to that rule! Worth it every time!
