Nanny's Family Restaurant

My wife and I have been going there for years, always enjoy the food and the service is great. Reason for the bad review? For about the last 6 months every time we go in there one of the servers young kids is runnning in and out of the kitchen, handling cutlery, putting his hands all over cups and in the ice buckets etc. completely unhygienic yet nobody bats an eye. We never feel like we can complain to any of the staff as they all see it and choose to ignore it. As a father of 4 I know how unhygienic little kids are and it amazes me that this behavior is tolerated.

Pleasant staff & very good food! This was our first time trying this place. Initial plan was to try The Cozy Egg in Mattawan but their waitress was not pleasant and after barking at us and the customer behind us for leaving the door open too long (being a gentlemen and opening the door for us) we left. Glad we gave Nanny’s our business & will be back!

What a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal! Was greeted as I walked in. The service was great and the food was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast! If I am ever back in town; I will be sure to visit them again for a good meal! Well worth the stop!

I wish the old owners still were running this place. Everything tastes like plastic. The serving staff that had rolled over when it was purchased were the only positives because of their genuine kindness.

Cozy, old-school breakfast/lunch spot. Everyone was friendly and the food was homey and perfect for a chilly day. We will definitely be back for more.

Service was wonderful. Atmosphere outstanding, but don't order anything with avocado. If it comes with it, tell them to leave it off. I got a chorizo skillet. It was outstanding, but the avocado is that bagged, pre-made kind, and it had a funny taste. I would definitely order it again, but tell them to hold the avocado.
