Not sure if it was miscommunication or something else. Ordered a fish sandwich without a bun and no sides to go for my wife who has ciliac decease. When it was brought to me I checked it. There was fish on a bun sitting on a bed of fries. When I asked the waitress about it she took it back to the kitchen and promptly returned my order. No doubt in my mind it was just scraped off the bun and put in a to go box. When I questioned the waitress about the price,$16.99. She explained to me that was the price and that's how it works.
The fish basket I ordered was pretty darn good. I asked what kind of fish it was, "perch pike" was the answer. Never heard of such a species. Good none the less.
While I really like the cabins here and enjoying staying here, probably won't be getting food at the bar again. Positive, the long necks I had were cold and exactly what I expected.

Was invited to go eat at the Big Lake Tavern with some friends who heard about it. Had a great meal very reasonably priced. Loved the interior of the bar and restaurant. Looks like they have daily food and drink specials and the burger I had was excellent! I was able to get mine fixed just the way I liked with the toppings I wanted and it was put together far better than I expected! As I manage the Grandview Cabins on the lake I will be sure to recommend to our guests that they check out the BLT.

Michelle and Rudy have done one hell of a job with this restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing atmosphere was great and the service was Top Notch. I would recommend this place over any place in the area. We were up there for a week and ate there every night they were open. So convenient. If I could give it 10 Stars I would.

Love it here and I can definitely say it’s the nicest cabin I’ve ever stayed in !! We shopped around for one in this area but everything we were coming up with were so old and well let’s just say not very nice! This is very big and very nice! Everything is like new plus there’s a restaurant on site! The location on the lake is also beautiful !

We had some family staying here so we came out to see them. The resort is amazingly well kept. Such a beautiful place. The cabins are super nice and comfortable. Staff was always friendly and helpful. If your planing to visit anywhere around here you should definitely look into staying here!
