The Helmer House is a MUST stop/stay/eat when traveling the UP. Start here, then plan your activities around it. Oh so worth it. Take some homemade goodies for the road too. You will not be disappointed!!
Really cute and super friendly people here. The food was really good and portions were on point. Left with some monster cookies for the road back home.
We started out splitting a cinnamon roll- so yummy! Then, We enjoyed our breakfast of a banana split with granola and a BLT egg sandwich very much! The coffee was good and refills were plenty. Service with great too. We even took home a loaf of the English Muffin Bread.
