The sign says, Best Wings Ever..... they are. If you're visiting Silver Lake, do yourself a favor and stop at the Silver Lake Chicken Shack! The smoked wings were absolutely perfect, the half chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, and the chicken nuggets were a huge hit with the kids. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and it's conveniently located right next to Craig's Cruisers. This is hands down the best chicken we've ever had. If you're camping at Silver...
We tried the wings, even tho theyr a lil dry, the smoked flavor was delicious. We did have to clean our own table but they were very busy. Waited 10 to 15 mins to get food so wasnt too bad. Baked potato was ok, but the fries were yummy. Paid about 15 per person. Staff was nice. Worth a stop.
It's a cool venue, but the wings are just so so. Live music and a view help offset the sticky rub on the wings. The sauces offered are nothing special, Franks, Sweet Baby Rays...it's better than Bdubs, but they haven't reached their true potential yet.
