Service is absolutely awful. Took us 40 minutes just to get A beer. they have 3 bartenders working when they should have like 10. get it together people. iâd rather drink at home in my garage.

You need to know some line dances before showing up to learn some line dancing. Fun environment without dancing.

Fried mushrooms were great! I had Walleye (very good & tender) with baked beans and coleslaw and it came with cornbread. All of our portions were large. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Too bad the live band wasn't there when we were

Cowboy Up has become my weekend ritualâand for good reason. The food is always amazing, the people are welcoming, and the whole vibe is just right whether youâre rolling in solo or with a group. The line dancing lessons are a total blast. Big shoutout to Sarah, Penny, and Gloria for being incredible instructors who make it fun for everyone, whether youâve got two left feet or youâre ready for the dance floor spotlight.
Drinks? Theyâve got a great varietyâjust donât come in expecting a world-class margarita (yet). Thatâs my one wish for the future: bring on the flavored margaritas and step up that game a bit! Until then, thereâs plenty of other great options to sip on.
Even though itâs a bar, drinking isnât the main event here. The atmosphere, the dancing, and the crowd of regulars (who start to feel like family) are more than enough to keep you entertained. And huge props to Taylorâthe best waiter aroundâfor always being on point.
Cowboy Up keeps me coming back weekend after weekend, and Iâm always looking forward to the next visit.

I really enjoyed the vibes. My first time line daceing was so much fun! đ
Definitely a go too for a variety of good food. Walleye was awesome!
I flew up from Seattle, Washington to go to Cowboy Up for New Years Eve with my cousins and friends. We drove for 30 minutes, and when we arrived they turned us away because they were not allowing any one under 21 into the event. This is outrageous because we have been planning this for a year and all of us are over 18 which according to their website is old enough to attend! We had been checking the website to make sure there were no changes for the night and nothing had been updated indicating people under 21 would not be able to attend. It wasnât until we got to the door that we saw a crappy piece of paper saying we were not allowed in. I donât understand what Cowboy Up has against 18, 19, and 20 year olds, but we all feel very offended! I am extremely disappointed!
I will not be back⊠(actually I might ;))
Got shut off then kicked out after 2 drinks and they took my sister's card and didn't give it back the staff here is very hard to deal with so if you want a good time don't come here!!!!!

Kicked me out saying I was a random guy hitting on a girl and wouldnât leave her alone. The girl was my girlfriend but they refused to believe me when I told them. Waste of time and money. Do yourself a solid and stay away from this place! Also stole my girlfriendâs card trying to figure out who she was. Total bs. Showed them my lock screen was a picture of her but they told me âitâs not your phoneâ. Said I stole her phone.

The DJ won't take requests claiming not to have even heard of a song that has been requested by multiple people for months and after I personally had talked to him about multiple times. This is not just poor customer service it is an insult. I can see that he needs to fill the floor but I've also seen him play a song for just 2 people to dance. Refusing to update your Playlist for a group who would fill the floor and comes regularly is not good business practice. If what your looking for is dancing to the same set of songs from the 90s country bar and the basic wedding line dances then this is definitely the place for you. Maybe as a novelty going here would be okay but when you go regularly because there aren't other options in the area, it is a severe disappointment.
I just found this place and love it on Friday nights!!!! The only thing that would it better would be for it to be closer to home.

Cowboy up needs an update with their music selection. There are no new songs that are being played. I was expecting to hear some songs that are currently on the radio that have line dances too. The past couple of times Iâve been there is not a big coward. I feel like it may be due to the music and the music is not very loud either, so it sounds dead. I had to request multiple times for the Dj to play a Morgan Wallen song. There is a diverse age group with some early 20s, 30s, 50+ and the music is mostly for targeted towards the older generation which I understand line dances vary with song generation, but there is no current songs for the younger generation to dance to causing the dance floor to be empty.
