It was our first time there. It was recommended by locals. It started off good ordering and all. But the table next to us started throwing racial slurs. And my daughter is 1/2 black. I told the server if she doesn't stop them I'm going to do something. She tried taking up for them and said they're not racist they just talk like that (80 something year old white men) my daughter started crying, I wanted to leave and just pay for our drinks. But they were going to make us pay for the food to and put in to go boxes. I calmed her down and we received our food. Definitely wasn't worth $5 let aline the price they were asking. My meatloaf was probably made 3 days prior and microwaved.
Interesting place in Mendon. Food was good, was quiet and end of day. Recommend.

The food was not good. They were more worried about talking badly to the locals about someone else, very unprofessional. The place seems dirty, old and dark, plus smells of mildew. Just passing thru but definitely not impressed.

I was in there a couple of weeks ago it's was awful we had the cornbeef hash it was dry and the toast was burnt order over easy eggs they were hard eggs .the waitress was more worried about the people sitting across from us and there kids had to wait 15 mins to be waited on then had to ask for silverware which took another 10mins to get that ,asked for the check the waitress ignored us. After we left made it to Union City and got sick ? from both ends I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN

We were looking for a "mom and pop" place to get some lunch. Found this gem. We ordered a chicken blt Wrap to split between the two of us. It was huge. It came with fries that were seasoned and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Our lunch experience was simply amazing! Highly recommend this place to eat!

Mendon, Michigan, where whispers breeze,Stands "Family Affair," aiming to please.A mischievous name that prompts a grin,Hints of secret romances, veiled so thin. Here, the burgers sizzle with rumors untold,And each serving of fries is audaciously bold. But hark! The name's a sly, cheeky jest,A nod to affairs, in humor, confessed.Their steaks are hearty, seared to perfection,Yet it's the innuendos that catch your reflection."Oh, it's a Family Affair," with a nudge and a tease,Each comment a playful, flirtatious breeze.Couples chuckle, friends raise an eyebrow,At this culinary hub of the ‘secret vow.’More than just food, it's a whispered joke shared,In the heart of Mendon, nothing's spared. So, come for the feast, rich and rare,But stay for the laughter in the air.Though ‘affairs’ are hinted, it's all in good fun,At Family Affair, the jest is never done.
