The big Mendon was easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned perfectly.

Tried the platter. The best BBQ I have ever had, they really know their craft. Will definitely be my goto BBQ establishment. The staff was equally outstanding.

Last week after we booked Blossom Pointe in Sherwood, Mi for my daughter's wedding venue we went to Main Street Smokehouse in Mendon, Mi for dinner.

Started off with the Texas Twinkie Dip N' Chips - caramelized onions, jalapeños, smoked cream cheese, sour cream, Colby jack cheese. Served hot with bacon crumbles and house chips.
Then for the main meal we shared the Baller Barbecuterie. This massive platter had 1/2 lb smoked brisket, 1/2 lb pulled pork, 6 pork belly burnt ends, 6 chicken wings, sweet hot pickles, smoked pepper and peach jam, garlic toast, pit beans (made with beans, brisket, mustard, sweet n smokey BBQ sauce, and cherry bomb BBQ sauce) and an amazingly creamy Mac and cheese.

Don't think I've had any brisket, pulled pork, or burnt ends that ever tasted as good. The chicken wings were delicious but a little on the dry side. The beans had a wonderful taste and texture with a smokiness that lingered after every bite. The Mac and cheese was creamy and oh so tasty.

Needless to say, we are looking forward to going back again and again.

I ordered the sampler and it was excellent. However, the server's knowledge and great attitude made the meal outstanding. My receipt said her name was Gigi...she was terrific!

Small little place. Very nice inside, but small, felt a little cramped since it was busy. Also kinda noisy due to being busy. But staff was very friendly and professional. Food was excellent. The sweet tot appetizer is bigger than you’d think and very good. Decent bourbon selection as well including some harder to find bottles.

Stopped in from Ohio on our way to a wedding and we are sure glad we did! I have only ever felt obligated to come on Google and write a handful of reviews in my life…This was hands down the best BBQ my husband and I have ever had. That’s says a lot because we travel alot anll over the world and have eaten a ton of BBQ. So many layers of flavor in every bite. Every single bite and dish was delicious we didn’t want to stop eating. Every sauce was so unique and delicious. Location was beautiful, patio seating on the water was so peaceful. The service was absolutely wonderful. If this restaurant was anywhere in Ohio it would never have an empty seat and a line out the door. I would make this 5 hour drive again just to eat here. Job well done Main Street Smokehouse.

My mother in law has wanted to take us here for a long time. We Bbq at home a lot, she was afraid we wouldn't like it. We loved it! The appetizers were incredible, the Barbequeterie was stunning and more than enough for 4. We added on a half rack of ribs which were amazing! My two critiques are this. The service was slow, and they sliced the brisket with the grain…. Who does that?

Our third visit, looking forward to our next! Came in at 6, left at 8- drinks and apps to dessert we did it. So good! Sat out by the river, perfect end of summer Friday destination. We drive over an hour to get here, well worth it.

Everything was decent but nothing was great. Pulled pork was best thing we had. Pork belly burnt ends in my opinion need more time on the pit to render the fat a little bit more. Brisket was very tender could use flavor, but biggest thing was presentation, it wasn’t cut in nice slices. Chicken wings were cooked well but really really lacked flavor. Both sides were okay just not my personal flavor profile fit. (Beans and Mac)

42nd anniversary, riverside bar style seating. Great live music by Johnny Love. The food was fantastic! Had Nancy’s Nectar-raspberry, Sprecher Root Beer, Mac n cheese with Brisket, BBQ salmon, and tiramisu. Mmmm … great night!

Carnita egg rolls were amazing. My wife got the ribeye and ordered it medium rare and it came out at least well done. Had it remade and the second time was still between medium well and well done. For the price, you should know how to cook a steak
