The food is great, the bakery selection is great and the pie is even better.
For some reason they are still using latex gloves as opposed to vinyl, nitrile or plastic. This is hazardous to any customers with latex allergies and potentially sensitizing their own employees. Whoever makes their glove choices needs to educate themselves and get up to speed on better glove selections.

Nice little restaurant that serves great selection of pies but also lots of other items like quiche, BLT, chicken salad/Tuna salad/egg salad combo, other specialty sandwiches and bakery items. Food is usually good and reasonably fast, but speed depends on if it's a busy time or not. A bit pricey (but what isn't these days) A nice option for lunch a step up from fast food.

Such a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The food tastes great and it's really fresh. I've never had a dish here that I did not enjoy! And of course, their pies and pastries are delicious!

I specifically came today to have a slice of pie. It is Grand Traverse Pie company after all. They were out of chocolate peanut butter, banana cream and others. Disappointing to leave with just a sandwich.

I received the most disgusting slice of quiche, it was watery and the ingredients were not mixed. I ordered something else instead of the quiche after receiving it and it was nothing special. Only thing worth coming here for is the pie, food is definitely not worth the price. Overall, this was the worst lunch experience I’ve had in a LONG time, I would not recommend.
Saddest Chicken Salad Sandwich we've ever had. Almost no chicken salad on it. It was mostly a cold "croissant" and a slice of lettuce. The chicken pot pie was acceptable ; decent flavor but lukewarm. Do not recommend.
Update...went to eat the strawberry rhubarb pie, and the pie crust between the filling and the crumble was still raw. This location is a disgrace.

So disappointed lately. The last few times I’ve been in, they never have broccoli quiche (out of it). So I got the Mediterranean quiche today and it was okay. I’ve had it before so I know it can be better. Last but not least, the tomato bisque is my favorite and usually an orange color. It was super red and not tasteful at all. Probably will put it down the drain. Oh I forget the slice of pumpkin bread that comes with the combo. I think they completely forgot the seasoning. Not sure what is going on here, new staff? I also didn’t get the piece of bread that comes with the soup. Weird.

Ok if you like pie, definitely, stop by. I recommend the cherry crumble or cherry pie although they offer so many different options, apple, peach, mixed berries and cream options to name a few. I personally did not like the peach crumble but that won’t stop me from trying other flavors. Also, the people are very nice. Just one other suggestion is that if you prefer non-grilled sandwiches, make sure you pay attention because most sandwiches are grilled options except for I believe the classic which you can modify to add cheese. I prefer their sourdough bread. My husband obviously opts for the tastier grilled option, blt specifically. However, if you’re picky like me they can still accommodate you. Although heads up to picky eaters, their chicken on salads is pre-seasoned so that may not be a good option if you’re used to salads where the chicken is lightly salted only.
