the food was disgusting they couldn't even fully cook the baked potato. Also the prime rib was so tough that it couldn't even be chewed up. the bread was not good enough to even feed to the birds. this restaurant needs to be closed or get the staff from the Gaylord restaurant to come in and teach this staff. Gaylord Lucky's restaurant was phenomenal, this one in okemos was really really bad.

Had to be a fluke, I always have a good experience here except for tonight. Ordered medium rare but it was medium well and rare. I spent more time chewing than I did enjoying the meal. Minimal flavor as if it wasn’t seasoned and it was incredibly dry. Beer was cold but almost no carbonation, the only good thing was the French onion soup. I don’t come here often but I think I’ll just stay local if this is what I can expect. I also mentioned it to the waitress numerous times that it was bad and I was unhappy and she finally just laughed cause even she knew this was a joke

I went to this restaurant as a large group consisting of seven people. We each ordered something different and our order was still incorrect or prepared poorly.
One of the people at our table ordered asparagus, a baked sweet potato and the crab cakes. The asparagus was drenched in thick butter that was gloppy and felt as if it was left out too long. The baked sweet potato had a topping of sugar or cinnamon that was not prepped into the potato leading to an unappealing experience. Finally, the crab cake, like the other items was too saucy and wet reminiscent of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.
We also had a vegan with us who order spaghetti with just marinara sauce. However, cheese was added and when the plate was sent back we received a new plate that was undercooked with raw mushrooms and onions.
Those who ordered any of the meat options left feeling sick afterwards mostly queasy and stomach cramping.
I will most likely not return to this establishment.

Food was excellent and portions large. Wife's lamb and my Brussel sprouts were particularly tasty. Prices were better than most other places with equivalent fare. Food service was quick and waiter was knowledgeable on food prep and ingredients so was able to quickly assist my wife with her special dietary needs. Only complaint is how long we had to wait to get the bill and go--they seem to have been under-staffed somewhat plus were not surveying the dining room as they went back and forth. I was literally waving my hand to include standing up to get attention as the minutes ticked by. I was noticeable enough that the people at the next table were laughing--finally I walked over and intercepted a staff member as they were walking through. Clean that issue up and this is for sure a five-star place.

Went on Halloween night, not very busy but it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Potatoes were cold, steak was good. We ate our salad and was just about to walk out after waiting another half hour for our food.
Always a good choice. This time I had the prime rib flatbread. Was yummy and brought home half for a 2nd meal the following day.
