My birthday was yesterday and my family came in from out of town. Some from Midland and some from Rochester Hills. My 2 young (toddler) grandchildren were with us. We made a reservation 2 days in advance. someone from Luckys called us to confirm the reservation. When we arrived they did not have our reservation and we waited 45 minutes to be seated. The kids were restless and our out of town company as a result were not able to attend after dinner plans that we had made. As we waited, 3 hostess stood at the front desk giggling and talking about their social lives. no one offered us a drink of water or anything at all while we waited. Finally when we were seated we received good service from Cam, but nothing for the inconvenience. No discount, no free dessert, no free appetizer and no apology. We will never go back. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told if there was anything they could do, they'd have a manager call us back.

As other reviewers have written, my group of 4 waited an hour for our food to be served on 12/30/24. The waitress was very nice and tried to cover for the kitchen but we should have been told the truth about the long wait. The food was okay but one of my group ordered a salad that was delayed longer than our cooked food. She asked for it in a ‘to go’ box and requested she not be charged for her order. I should have known something was wrong when I arrived. An angry woman told the hostess they were leaving after waiting at the bar for 20 minutes with no service. Just don’t go!

Waited an hour for starters. Got our meal wrong - steak was overcooked twice and brought out the wrong meal.

Very overrated steakhouse when the place has good portions at a reasonable price, it means it lacks quality.

My husband & I went here with 3 friends. We're all from out of town. I wasn't expecting anything special, but WE ALL WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED? All of our meals were superb! Allyssa was our waiter & she also impressed us with her efficiency & attentiveness. The price of each meal was appropriate & we were all astonished at each large portion. Four of us had the largest house salad ever in our lives. WE WILL DEFINITELY MAKE RESERVATIONS AGAIN! (This is another point: I recommend reservations bc the restaurant is VERY popular & was full, even Prom groups were there!) One last insight: even as busy as it was, we felt like we were the only ones there. Meals arrived in a timely manner hot & delicious & our drinks were constantly checked on & refilled. There is only ONE negative observation. it's extremely loud with customers chatter. We were seated in the large open room without anything to absorb noise. Like Macaroni Grill restaurants, large open room without any booths partitions or walls to tone down the customers talking. There are tables set up on a lower level that might help with this issue, though.

Shaun was an excellent bartender. However, the sewer smell is horrible!!!!!! It hits you as soon as you walk in the door. It used to be just in the bathroom, but Now it smacks you in the face. It's hard to support under these circumstances.

First time trying Lucky's. Went for dinner on a Saturday night. It was packed, the wait was over an hour, which was fine, that's usually a good sign. We went and ran some errands locally. There's a webpage where you can track your status on the list. You don't have to sit there inside the restaurant hangrily. We ordered the calamari appetizer, and it was phenomenal. I got the prime rib special, which comes with mushrooms, onions, and cheese. Great cut of meat cooked perfectly. Absolutely loved it. The wife ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi, which she enjoyed. We finished it up with an enormous piece of really good carrot cake. It was a great meal, and a great experience. Our server Alysa did an awesome job. This ain't McDonald's folks. You're going to spend some time here, but that's a perfect opportunity to enjoy the company you came with. If you're looking for a quick bite, this might not be the place. If you're looking for high quality dining at a very reasonable price, give Lucky's a try. We'll 100% be back.

The wait was over an hour, but expected that for a steakhouse on a Saturday night. Many people were waiting so we thought it must be worth the wait. We were visiting from out of town and were so disappointed. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes we were sat at a sticky table with no silverware, acknowledgement of very long wait, or decent service from the start. We were not greeted by anyone for another 20 minutes. When someone did come they wanted to quickly get just our drink order but by that time; we were ready to order, obviously. We then told her the table next to us hadn’t been helped either. Why move the wait from the foyer to a table to only wait longer and watch everyone around you eat a drink? Our actual server never acknowledged us, she just dumped the appetizer off and later brought the bill; which we requested since we were tired of waiting, and had the audacity to ask if we wanted change. Absolutely we wanted change as we were not going to leave her a 30% tip. We get being busy and in the weeds and everything because we have also been servers, but you don’t just not acknowledge it. Own it! The appetizer was good, but we boxed the other food since we did not want to eat full meals at 9:30pm. We were just over it at that point. The bathroom also had NO toilet paper in all the 5 stalls. Women were coming out of stalls saying to grab paper towel since it was out. I would avoid this place if you can. Not worth the time or money.

If I could give negative stars I would. The only saving grace we experienced was a server who noticed after she worked an entire wedding party that in the main dining her coworkers were behind. I wish I had gotten this server name as she did a wonderful job stepping in.

We waiting about 50 minutes which was not a problem. They told us that from the beginning. The problem started after we were seated. After 25 minutes of no one coming to our table the waitress that worked the wedding party apologized and took our drink order and food order and the table next to us who were seated before us and also had not had the waitress come to their table. After that waitress left for the night and our regular waitress took over it was nothing but silence and problems. She never once came by to see how we were doing, introduce herself or offer a drink refill. I went up to the bar and had them refill my Coca Cola. When our waitress brought our appetizer out it was the first time interacting with her. There was no apology, no introduce nothing. She plopped the appetizer down and walked away. This was after an hour of waiting. After that it took another 40 minutes to have her come by a second time. I requested that when the food comes out to automatically bring boxes and the check. Did not bring enough boxes so had to wait longer. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible of service this was. If I were starving and this luckys was the only restaurant insight I would choose gas station snacks before subjected myself to the disrespect and lack of service and acknowledgement from this place. Also my wife went to use the restroom and one toilet was overflowing and not a single other stall had toilet paper. A kind lady in the bathroom found paper towel and let the staff know. I can understand one stall not having toilet paper. But every single one. Disgusting.
