The last time we went here was 10 years ago. Wish I hadn’t waited this long.

We ordered for the first time tonight. Ordered to-go and it was ready within 10 minutes. The tom yum soup was really good. I would order that again. The drunken noodles with chicken were bone dry. The flavor was okay, but it seemed as though it was sitting there for a few hours. The chicken was tough and dry and the noodles just seemed like dry noodles with spices. It was quite expensive for the amount of food.

I absolutely used to love coming to Thai Princess whenever I was in Okemos but the prices are getting too high for the portions. Most menu item’s prices have doubled in the past 8 years with the portions getting smaller and smaller. The food tastes great but every time I come back the items I usually get are more expensive than the last time. $18 for a plate (not an actual bowl) of curry when it used to be $$11-$15 is absurd. You’ll get about 3 potato pieces in your entire portion but tons of onions. $9.50 for five crab rangoons now also! It’s really just not worth going anymore unless you don’t care what you pay for what you get.

The very best place to eat plant-based when I come to visit Okemos. They never disappoint!
Thank you for using high quality ingredients…it shows in your meals.

Ordered two noodle dishes for delivery and quite literally neither has any sauce or flavor or color or garnishes. The pad Thai was completely white. I found a single half of a peanut in it, but that was it besides the chicken and dry pale noodles- no bean sprouts, no crushed peanuts, no lime, no sauce, no shredded cabbage -no nothing. The pad se ew was likewise completely pale. It tasted like the noodles were cooked in a pan that had held pad se ew flavoring long long ago. Hint of hint of sauce. The broccoli in the pad se ew was almost entirely long thick slices of stem and not steamed enough to be edible. Fresh rolls were ok but would benefit from more flavor or herbs too. I ordered peanut sauce as a side thankfully because that was the only flavor in this entire $65 meal. I honestly cannot believe the high ratings for this restaurant. You can make flavorless, unsalted rice noodles at home so save your money.

“The food was very disappointing. It looked nice in the pictures, but in reality it was nothing like that. The service was also terrible — the server was grouchy and didn’t even greet us. When we complained that the food wasn’t cooked properly, she responded by saying, ‘You might not have tried Asian food,’ which was insulting and unprofessional. That’s not how you treat customers or run a restaurant.

Excellent food! Gluten free and vegan options. I have Celiac so that is a huge bonus. Service was very helpful and quick. The best Pad Thai I have had in a long time. Will most definitely return when we are in the area.

Highly recommend. We come here every time we are in Okemos. Huge portion sizes and very fair price. Food is always great and is authentic. Staff is incredible and very nice. Great atmosphere and they recently expanded to include a bar area. Highly recommend the Thai Iced Tea. Definitely worth a visit. Can seat groups of anywhere between 1-10+ people. Can easily host large family/group dinners. Food comes fast and hot. They have an extensive menu.

The food here is truly excellent - especially the Red Curry Fried Rice and Khao Muk Gai (Yellow Curry), which were both packed with flavor. However, the dining experience was affected by the staff's behavior. The service felt rushed and somewhat discourteous, almost as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. On one occasion, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and the staff immediately hovered over our table, pressuring us to order. Shortly after, they began mopping around us, which made us feel quite unwelcome. While the food deserves praise, the hospitality could definitely be improved.

I had only ever gotten take out from thai princess before sitting down today with my sister! take out doesn’t do this place justice! the food is even BETTER sitting down! Lots of plants and details inside with an amazing selection of food! the spice levels are customizable but I think their set spice on their dishes is perfect! By far the best pad thai curry and tom kha i’ve ever had! If you’re craving thai food in the East Lansing Okemos area Thai Princess is a no brainer!
