We stumbled on this super fun tavern/restaurant on our way to powderhorn mountain in Bessemer and had a wonderful lunch and history lesson! The people were so nice and shared stories about fishing and snowmobiling on lake Gogebic! This is what I love about our wonderful USA! The manager dave is a life saver, when my sleds engine failed he saved the day by trailering the sled and I 100 miles back to ishpeming after having a awesome burger for lunch top notch people and place thank you again Dave!
We had a great day snowmobiling and decided on the Hoop for a late lunch. The place was busy, but we found an open table. Dave was taking our drink orders within 5 minutes. Lori was our waiter and was equally attentive. I had the wings and they were excellent. Much better attitude here than AJ’s down the road. Will definitely be back.
