Came in here for a bite to eat after golfing at Metamora Country Club. Only a few cars in the parking lot so thought it was a bit strange. Walked in to only a couple people ponied up at the bar. Thought we were in for a disaster. Couldn't have been more wrong. Burger and fries we ordered were fantastic (probably the best bar burger and fries I have ever had) and you couldn't beat the $2 bottles. I was happy to be proven wrong. Don't sleep on this place. It was awesome!
Dive bar on M-24, just a few miles from Metamora. The building is off the road quite a ways, but thankfully they have a pretty big sign near the road. I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon, around 1:40. The sign on the door said they didn't open until 2, so I waited in the car until then. Loved this place. A true dive bar that lives up to the definition.
