“Top notch!Great experience! We ate at the Whitehorse Inn on Easter and the experience was wonderful. The ambience is one of a kind. Everything was seamless. The menu was limited but it cut no corners. The service was absolutely remarkable. Jacob was our server, a delightful young man who was extremely efficient, professional and humorous. His service was top notch, and he made our family feel extremely special, especially our 92 year old mother. Good service is so very hard to find and he hit all points and also exceeded every expectation we had.The Whitehorse Inn is a wonderful place to eat at that is rich in history, with fabulous food and top notch service. I have had her do cookies for several of my events, bachelorette parties and for holidays! You can also catch her at the Metamora balloon festival every year! If she has the "Brookie" then it's one you MUST try! You will not be disappointed by her craft, attention to detail and delicious cookies!”

“I spent many summers at D-A as a boy and many of my favorite memories were made in this dining hall. The quality of food has waxed and waned throughout the years, but I can assure you that we scouts rarely noticed. What truly makes this place more than just a mess hall are the memories that are made here and the history contained within it's walls. At the end of the day it's about keeping the kids happy, and everything else comes easy.”

Miles better than the Lapeer taco bell and I didn't have to wait 45 minutes for an order that's half correct with half of it missing and everything tiny. “The loaded potato and steak and potato soup were amazing. The ribs were good but don't seem as good as they once were. Saw some burgers going out to people that looked super good. It's a really a nice place to eat, for some relaxed local dining. Our waitress was helpful, funny, and kind. We will be back!”

“With many cafes and coffee shops in the vicinity, one must stand out in order to win the local business. CFE does EXACTLY that! I was so incredibly impressed with CFE. The historical setting of the coffee shop has modern decor touches while keeping the building’s classical charm. Upon walking in a was greeted by truly smiling, happy staff! There is seriously nothing better! I told them I was new to the shop and wondered what they offered. The young man politely showed me their simple classic menu, seasonal specials, and the beautiful pastries and cakes. He let me know that all of the pastries were house made (except for one, which was made at a local bakery). I ordered a Cozy Chai Latte from the seasonal menu. The staff member encouraged me to pick a seat and he would bring it to my table. Such a nice touch. All pricing was very reasonable. My goodness, I have never had such a delicious cup of anything in my life. Warm, flavorful, frothy, and served in a REAL MUG! I’m sure they have disposable takeout mugs for those on the go, but I did appreciate a legitimate mug while I enjoyed catching up with a friend. An array of sweeteners and coffee accessories are available at a self-service station, along with a lemon water dispenser. The interior of the store was clean, attractively decorated, and spacious. There are many cozy options for seating - couches, armchairs, big tables, small tables, and outdoor options for the warm weather. I loved how the semi-separation of areas/rooms in the shop allowed for some more privacy. Plus, bar seating is available near the barista. The single unisex bathroom was spacious and clean, and well stocked. It is a typical bathroom but still decorated and maintained. The attached parking lot is a big benefit, too. No need to walk from the municipal lots downtown! Plenty of parking is available in the dirt lot. A low-grade, accessible ramp is present from the lot to the entryway. As I anticipated, the friendly staff said goodbye to us on our way out, flashing big smiles all around. The hospitality here made me want to write this review even more - these people care about the establishment and I wish for them to know that it didn’t go unnoticed. I will absolutely be sharing this establishment with anyone I know in the market for an elevated coffee house, with staff who are happy to be there and delectable beverages made with care (all while paying lower-than-Seattle-Based-Coffee-Company’s prices). Kudos, CFE!!!Parking: Dirt lot on the side of the establishment. There was plenty of parking when I went on a Friday afternoon.Wheelchair accessibility: Low-grade ramp from parking lot to porch and entryway.”

“We love Cooks Dairy and try to visit once or twice a year at least, usually at random when we're in the area. Best ice cream around! I've been going since I was a kid, and now, my girls and I go together. We love seeing and petting the cows, especially the babies, in the springtime. Definitely recommend paying this cute little dairy farm a visit ”

“This coffee shop is amazing! I got the hot chocolate and it was amazing. So chocolaty and smooth. It’s hard to find a perfectly fitting lid on cups, but white pine did it. Finally, this place has the character of a 200 year old cozy cabin feel with modern amenities you are looking for.Overall, would recommend!”

“The salsa is perfect! Fresh and perfectly spiced. I ordered the seafood ceviche with a mix of fish and shrimp and it was delicious. The fish was very fresh tasting and it was quite a large serving. The carne asada tacos were great. The shells were great,easy to bite and not too flavorful, the meat was tender but a bit too charred on the outside and the salsa served with the tacos was great when it was put on the taco.”

“First time visiting. Let them know I hadn't been before and wanted to try the pita sandwich. One of the guys behind the counter offered some topping suggestions in addition to the ones I selected. Portion size was plenty, toppings were fresh and the flavor was awesome. Will definitely return to this location in the future.”

“These are some of the best cookies and small baked goods I've had since I stopped baking myself! I have not tasted anything yet that I wasn't an immediate fan of, so much so that I have to pace myself to eating just one or two a day instead of my entire purchase when I get home. The scones are the most moist and tasty I've ever had (even the jalapeno, which I didn't think I'd like). The mini-banana breads are a delight, and the cookies (especially the Snickerdoodles) just take me right back to my mother's/aunt's/and my own baking! Just a wonderful shop!”

“We Love Krave! Our favorite place to eat. We dine in and order take out and have never had a bad experience. Some of our favorites are the Rodeo and Hawaiian burger, Carrot Cake Pancakes, German Chocolate Pancakes, Reuben egg rolls, Greek Salad and the Chicken Kabobs.”

“This place is really neat! My boyfriend and I stopped in to grab some coffee, and we were not disappointed! Staff was super friendly and helpful, coffee was DELICIOUS! I had a panda mocha Frappuccino with an extra shot (so good! perfect amount sweetness and coffee flavor) and my boyfriend had an iced macchiato, which he said was delicious too (it was, but I like my coffee sweeter haha). The inside of the store itself was really cute; lots of space to hangout and relax. I definitely recommend stopping in if you're in or near the Legacy Center looking for some coffee or a snack ?”

The ownership and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute; provided excellent food and great service. “The Tap burger sliders are fire! This bar has come along way from when they first opened. Always improving, always hiring quality help, always a good time.Kid-friendliness: This place caters to kids but it is still definitely a bar. No language restrictions or kids meal specials. I brought my 8 and 6 year olds and they always ask when we're going back.Ha!”
