Food and service were good. It was a busy rainy Sunday morning and they did a great job of getting people in and out.

Southern Spoon Homestyle Breakfast is a restaurant that serves excellent food and provides excellent service. The staff aim to please their customers and are very friendly, attentive, and full of genuine smiles. The menu has a southern and cajun flare. Customers can order meals such as Steak and Eggs, Countryfried Steak Breakfast, biscuit breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and the Slap Ya Mama breakfast, which comes with crispy seasoned potatoes, flavorful sausage, peppers, perfectly cooked eggs, and toast. The country fried steak is handbreaded and tenderized, not prebreaded and frozen. The Steak and Eggs steak cuts like butter and has a rich beefy flavor. The pancake is thick and fluffy. The iced latte and coffee are made perfectly. The food is delicious, hot, and fresh, with generous portion sizes. The kitchen can be a little slow, so customers should not be in a rush. This nice little roadside dinner with a patio is a hidden gem and an absolute gem. Customers will not leave hungry and will definitely be back.
