Had the vegan burger (i am not vegan or vegetarian). It was tasty and the fries were good too. However, I thought the portions were very small for the price. The patty seemed similar size to a mcdonalds hamburger. I left hungry. Would return if they increase portion sizes or adjust prices.

Excellent restaurant. Good options for all dietary types wether vegan, gluten free or meat eaters! The pulled pork qusadilia was great. It has a good smoky flavor and not too much barbecue so you get the natural flavor if the meat. the 3 different sause options insurers it doesnt get boring.
The gluten free flat bread had an excellent combination of flavors with just enough hummus to hold it all together without overpowering the vegetables.

Such a great addition to downtown Midland! This place will kill it. The food and service was incredible. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf, which was the best meatloaf I've ever had. My daughter had the bison sloppy joe, which she loved. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a fantastic experience with our date night group. We all decided to give this place a try. Food was great! Hot, fresh, and comforting. Looking forward to trying more of the menu but the first impression that Beatnicks delivered was top notch. That was worthy of 5 stars for this new spot. Shrimp Alfredo, feta dip, shot ski! Thanks for a great night.

Came in before it got super busy one evening, waitress had 3 other tables- one of which was looking like they had all their food already. She comes by and gets the drink and appetizer order. Brings the drinks over and continues on. 15 minutes later she finally comes to get our order, meanwhile it’s been getting busier during that time so now you could tell she’s actually busy/has a few more tables now and is exceedingly checked out focus wise on our table. We put the food in, don’t mention that we haven’t gotten the app yet because the restaurant is fairly new maybe they’re just running behind. Another 10-15 ish minutes go by and still no appetizer, waitress not checking by whatsoever and we said excuse me and asked if it was gonna come out soon or what’s going on? And she said she would go see and get it. Went into the kitchen, came back out with nothing, and never even came back to tell us anything. Finally a few minutes after that the food comes out which one meal wasn’t even hot. At this point we said go ahead and just cancel the appetizer.
Nothing wrong necessarily with the taste of food, other than one meal being cold after waiting there for a little over an hour and the poor/slow service + not getting the app.
Respectfully don’t talk about me, wasn’t going to leave a bad review being as the restaurant is so new but the service was slow/not good etc. and you weren’t even that busy yet. Oh well I guess.
Edit: it was not as busy as it had gotten when we first arrived. She didn’t even come to get our drink order and greet us for almost 10 minutes on top of that which is why we added to app to our drink order. Then she acted like she was surprised we were even ordering meals? Didn’t have another 30 minutes to spare and didn’t want anything for free or to make up for it anyway.
And like I said wouldn’t have even left a review had your husband not started spreading a lie saying that I did because of previous employment issues. Never have I ever been immature enough to even think about doing that and don’t appreciate it being said about me when we haven’t even spoken in years because there is nothing to say and I didn’t care because it wasn’t personal for me to be that childish.
