“After several visits I have yet to be let down. It can be busy so get a reservation. Carbonara, Pollo Mostarda, Eggplant Parm are all excellent. Best part is the fresh local pasta.Vegetarian options: Eggplant Parm and a good pasta selection.”
“Pizza was very tasty! Crust was perfect; not too soft and doughy but not too thin and crispy. Fresh mozzarella makes a world of difference. Love the local eclectic art work. Will definitely come back again!”
“Maru was an amazing experience. Service was amazing. If you visit Maru I would highly recommend that you Request Jessica P. Her knowledge of the menu and attentiveness is second to none. Presentation of our selections where amazing. I highly recommend the Oceans 21, Mario, Cosmo and Spicy Tuna roll. On the Oceans 21 you have to indulge in the cherry bomb sauce. You will thank me later. The price was fair for the quality and amount of food. Maru is more than a sushi restaurant. It's an experience to be had. I cannot recommend Maru enough!”
“Stopped in for the first time during lunch on a Wednesday. Staff was super friendly. Atmosphere is any and every generic barbecue place anywhere in the country, not bad but nothing to get excited about. My husband and I shared everything we ordered. Cornbread was a solid 10. Baked beans were as well. I had the BBQ fried rice and it was a 7.5, and I appreciate having unique options. The dill potato salad...I had high hopes. It just lacked something special. I added lots of s&p and it went from a 4 to a 5.5. The Mac and cheese was disappointing, 3.5. The sausage was amazing. 9 all day long. My brisket was good, 7.5. for the portion sizes and food quality, it was more than fairly priced. For Midland, it's amazing food. I'd definitely eat here again when I'm in the area.”
“Beautiful place downtown midland and the food speaks for itself. My whole family visits this restaurant whether it’s for lobster sandwiches or simply a quick drink while being out and about. You should be proud of what you have.Thank you!”
“Stopped into One Eighteen with my group of three for the first time. Ethan was our server and he did a great job with service. However, I left a little disappointed at my experience. Bread was fantastic and we ordered the Brussels sprouts which were equally amazing. I had the NY Strip Steak and ordered it medium but it came out Well and was a little rough. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and he loved it. And my other guest ordered the braised rib which she let me try and I thought as she did that it was great. The ambiance was nice and I enjoyed it. Booths were spacious for us. As for my meal I didn't complain because I didn't want to hold my group up. I did see the dessert from the group next to us and it looked incredible. We declined the dessert but I regret not trying it. Overall we were all happy with service and food. I do wish my steak was cooked better and my guest with the braised ribs commented that she would have liked to have some mushrooms added to it. Otherwise nothing extraordinary but a good meal and pleasant evening. Only recommendation I would give would be to change the paper on the fries. It looks like it's out of a 50's diner and clashed with the setting. We all commented at the same time about the paper. Psychologically it made me think that I was at a Denny's or Bobs Big Boy. Also the obvious, cook the steak right. Would I go back? I think I would but the steak sort of turned me off to it. Maybe I'd go back and order something new. I wanted to try the clam chowder, maybe the chicken sandwich and have a go at the braised rib or dessert.”
“tonight was at least our 3rd visit and (other than our waitress, Amanda or Ashley? leaving hearts on the receipt she handed to my spouse; disrespectful and distasteful IMO) I would every time have told someone else to try it! Cooks have such good energy and it's infectious”
“My second time coming to Cafe Zinc and there was a slight problem with the reservation but Cafe Zinc and the hostess were able to work something out. I guess we might have put two down instead of three however they squared everything away and accommodated us. Our server Andrea was on top of it all and was friendly, welcoming and overall an awesome server. I ordered the bread pudding French toast and it was incredible. I'd order that over and over. We were seated in the bar area and Andrea made it comfortable and added some ambiance to the area. Overall a positive experience both times and I'd absolutely will be returning for a third time when I get the chance.”
“The food is excellent. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly, very accommodating and they want to make sure that your dining experience would be one that would bring you back again and again to their Italian restaurant, absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Midland Can't say enough about D'Alessandros.”
“There is one issue and others have same issue with is they close so early at 2pm it's very hard to dine here finding them open. Which automatically make us go to other places. So you need longer hours just do. Otherwise it's a top notch place with incredible food and seating area.”
“Absolutely phenomenal pizza! Never disappointed with their food! Delicious stuff and friendly staff. Some of my all-time favorite comfort pizza!Kid-friendliness: Kids love their pizza and bread bites!Wheelchair accessibility: As part of the food court in the mall it has ideal access for all.”
“Unique menu with great tasting food and beers. During the summer sitting outside is really nice. If they are busy you can get a drink and hang out at the barn out back while you wait for your table.”
“I always order Monterey. Chicken from a different Lucky’s location….the midland location served with no green peppers, red peppers or onions and mushrooms. When they did bring out the peppers after we asked they did not appear freshly cut peppers and shriveled up onions…they need to call the lucky is Imlay city and see how they do it?”
“Sometimes I ask myself. If I could only have one thing: air to breathe or some Chinese food, which would I choose. I still contemplate this question almost daily. China Palace has some pretty good Chinese food. The portions could feed a whole village. I respect those portions in today's society. I recommend. The end.”
“Best Indian Restaurant in the Great Lakes Bay Region! The food has so many unbelievable flavor profiles, that smack you right in the mouth (in a good way)! The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable about the food and what drinks to pair with it. HIGHLY recommend!”
