I decided to stop on here after being told that they had good food. The recommendation did not disappoint. The decor is nice and the place is dimly lit, which I prefer. The first visit, I tried the blackend salmon, and it was perfect. The service was great, and the bartender and wait staff are friendly. I like it so much that I went back a second night. My family & I live in Midland but had not been to Diamond Jim's. Family from out of state & out of town visited so we decided to try DJ's as there was 9 of us and the place we originally chose could not accommodate us as it was Homecoming. DJ's easily accommodated us and we were all thoroughly impressed with the food, service, prices & atmosphere! Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great food. The kitchen here is fabulous. I got the whitefish and it was cooked perfectly. Always fresh vegetables with your meal. They have a great selection of bourbon and a very cool bartender who is very attentive and can talk on a variety of topics. It's always a go to for me. Difficult to find a place that cooks fish properly especially when it's not a "fish" place.
