The food was very good, hot and plenty of it. The only thing that disappointed me was their egg rolls. Nothing in them and the crust was blah.

Freshly reopened. The only thing that looked new was the flooring. Atmosphere was still circa 1980s. The buffet was extra small with basic selections that was not very good tasting. Having to wait around for plates was a minor annoyance. The wait staff was great however their good work can't fix an all around mediocre to bad and over priced meal at $42 for two people.

Went to try it out for reopening and it was the worst experience and food I have ever eaten. Waited 15 minutes for a table for 2. We both got the buffet, was seated and went up to buffet to get food and all the steam trays were empty. Waited for them to refill the trays, then there were no plates. Then as soon as plates were brought out there was a line back to the register. We went to see what was there and trays were empty again. Only some battered chicken was left which was way over cooked and hard. Had to find and ask associate just to get a refill on our drinks. Called the store and asked for a manager because paid almost $50 for nothing. Told manager that was unsatisfied and barely ate anything and all she could say is it's our reopening and we are working things out. Manager would not refund any of the money I spent. Asked if I wanted a credit for a buffet later. Why would I want to come back to the place that I had the worst service and food from. I said I will not return and I will let everyone know to not waste their money there. Just got taken for $50 and left hungry because they dont care about their customers. Would of given 0 out of 5 stars if it let me. Will not ever be back and am going to let all my customers from my business and family and friends to never go to China palace. See it reckoning real soon, needs better management and owners in order to be successful!

Under new ownership August 2025. Entrees are tasty and as I expected Mongolian Beef, Shrimp and Peas with Fried Vegetable rice side. Disappointed with the soup and egg rolls. Entrees order comes with Soy sauce, hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce packets. Take-out pick-up only.

I'm not trying to be rude. Last time I was here. Was probably in the 80s no joke. My parents love this place. They were doing a remodel. Soon as you walk in it says carry out or buffet. I asked is there a buffet? The long red haired guy was like nooo. So they need to take their sign down that says buffet. Food is probably great. I am cheap but I wasn't paying 45. Per person. I don't go out to eat ever really. But I had to walk out the place. You can't even tell where you walk in at. Looking at the place I figured you would get a happy ending at the end of it.

I am sooo disappointed with the changes since new ownership. Much smaller portion sizes and the food was extremely salty!!! The sesame beef and hunan chicken were awful, can't even eat the hunan chicken its so salty😭
First time since new ownership...yep it changed, and not for the better. Vegetable chop suey was watery, much too salty, and half the portion size as before. Had always come with rice/soup and now only soup. I understood this at the time of ordering and asked for rice, but didn't include it. Almond chicken was similar, smaller portion, thin gravy, and again salty. Rice was included but again smaller portion. New owners stated they were staying with China Palace recepies, not so. Guess it's time to get that old wok from the basement or find something outside the PIs franchise.

If you're looking for delicious chinese, stop looking! This place is always it. The price, the quantity, the quality, it's everything. Love this place so much, missed it while it was closed.

To start, we waited longer than the quoted time by 20 minutes, and then the food was cold and soggy. My chicken fried rice has absolutely no flavor. The dumpling sauce was so salty it made my face pucker, I tried asking what their sauce was like before ordering and the person couldn’t give me an actual description of what the sauce was. I am so unsatisfied and will never be coming back here. Very disappointed.
