It was a truly unique dining experience. With the guidance of my friend and the owners, I chose several traditional dishes that were delicious and unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. I finished with baklava, which was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal!

My husband and I love Middle Eastern food. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and we had to go the direction of where this “restaurant” was to visit a friend in the hospital. When we searched for Middle Eastern restaurants, this was the one nearest our location. There were pictures of the restaurant. We were shocked when we arrived at our destination and it was located in a mall…..not what the pictures indicated. When we showed the man working the counter, his response was they had a restaurant but nobody came to it so they had to move into the mall. I said the picture should be taken down from the site as it was misleading. We decided to eat there anyways as it was getting late and we had a long drive home. We have eaten Middle Eastern food in malls before and it was delicious. We have also been to Egypt and the food was amazing! We were very disappointed with the limited menu, but we settled on an Egyptian speciality, according to him. We got lots of pasta and rice with a little bit of lentils and chickpeas. The seasoning tasted good, but it was not worth the money we paid, and the quality of the food was inferior. We only ate about a quarter of it and threw the rest in the garbage. We also ordered a gyro. It was the smallest and most tasteless gyro we have ever had. There were only three or four small dried out pieces of gyro meat. It was the worst meal we have had in a long time…..and we have eat at a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants. Very disappointed!

They're not a lot of options for Middle Eastern food in the area. It scratches the itch for me

First had Egyptian Koshery at this restaurant a couple years ago. Tasty, filling and healthy. Now, on up-north trips, we stop by the Midland Mall to grab our Koshery fix. Plus salad. The Egyptian coffee is really good too.

The staff is so kind! On top of that I had three of their desserts (I wanted to try each one) the Salahb was so creamy and smooth, the Bassboussa was buttery and tasted amazing with the yogurt, and the Kunafa was perfectly sweet and just delicious. Seriously, try it out, it’s worth your time and money 💕

Restaurantji Recommends
I was looking for a meal that was mainly vegetarian. I went up and asked a couple of questions and he was super informative and even suggested something for me to try. I LOVED it. 12/10. I even ate some crispy onions (not my fav) due to his recommendation and it was super good on the dish.

Incredible food!!! Unlike anything I’ve had before, the food was seasoned so well and had really good blends of spices. We tried some of everything, and it was all just so beyond delicious! The service was also so prompt and helpful! Can’t wait to come back :)

Overpriced for that you get. The smallest portions I have ever seen. $9 for the smallest Gyro I have ever seen. Just absolute disappointment.
