Amazing customer service and lot's of variety. Too many choices. They even offer fresh peanut butter. It's super clean inside. The line was long but it went fast.
Love this place great service great ice cream
Homemade by them ice-cream and other treats! A wonderful selection of flavors. Eat in or sit on the porch. Neighborhood setting. Wheelchair accessible.
Some of the best ice cream and dessert options anywhere, great flavors, wonderful consistency, worth every dime every time.
Great local ice cream
Best place for ice cream. A little pricey but the quality is worth it.
Went to this establishment in hopes to get a simple chocolate peanut butter milkshake mind you the place sells peanut butter creamy and chunky and three different sizes a piece but yet they could not make a chocolate peanut butter milkshake cuz they didn't have peanut butter when they have shelves full of peanut butter
I am a HUGE fan of ice cream, especially high end, small batch (Greaters, Van Leeuwen, even Ben and Jerrys and Haagen) Not to mention the quintessential Calder Farms Dairy in Carleton. Hate to be rude...but to be completely honest...this ice cream doesn't have the butter fat content, is too sweet and generic tasting. It's not bad, its not great.
I gave 10 to 12 different flavors here a whirl over the past month with Mint Chocolate chip my benchmark with ANY brand...I gave thier sample an honest assessment. Overall, their mint chip is a 6/10. Greaters mint and Calders mint an easy 9.5.
Then the price paid for what you get. Its like welll...I will leave it at that.
If I have a choice between dragging my butt out and getting ice cream, I will grab a pint from the grocery store. Sorry...the taste of Greaters or Haagen at $6 a pint is better. Even Calders Dairy, you get easily 30% more and the taste is marginally better (clean/sharp mint taste) The flavor and butterfat content is cleaner on the pallet and neither are overly basked in overbearing sweetness.
JMHO.
Your staff served with smilies! Your ice cream was oh so delicious! From one ice cream shop to another, keep up the good work!
Great ice-cream good service. But I think they are a little high priced

Super awesome place
What a charming little ice cream shop!
Our family loves this place. The staff is always friendly. The shop is clean, air-conditioned, and smells amazing! But the ice cream is the best thing of course! Hand made cones! Great flavors! Try the lemon bar. It's my fav.
No confusion or delay.
I came to visit as a family of four and the three other members of my family all received their ice cream prior to mine. When it came to be my turn, one of the workers told the other worker her scoops were too big and my ice cream was much smaller than the rest of my group. I would recommend making these recommendations between patrons or out of earshot from patrons. If a group arrives and all order the same thing, their servings should be the same size. Big positives for variety of delicious and unique flavors, though.
The best ice cream in the tri-city area. One of the few places that makes their own ice cream in the back of the store. It's always fresh and with new flavors every time, while keeping the fan-favorites in regular rotation.
I no longer live in Midland but every time I visit I make sure to stop in at Great Lakes to grab a cone of their Lemon Bar ice cream. Nothing compares.
